Nah, i think we need to do an extensive history on how the pineapple was discovered and incorporated into our society, then we can talk about what angle to hit it with a knife

I have seen many videos about how to cut a pineapple, but don't agree with any of them.
You don't need to throw away the core of the pineapple. Even though it is a little hard, it is still perfectly edible and delicious.
In my opinion, the simplest and best way to cut a pineapple is perpendicular to the axis, where you get several circular slices.
Then you cut each slice in 4 pieces, just like a pizza. That is all.
Each piece will be triangular, just like a piece of pizza, and you eat it just like a watermelon.
There is no need to peel the pineapple. Just like a watermelon, you use the skin to hold the piece in your hands.
If you really don't want to eat the core, all you have to do is cut the tip of the triangle.
There is no need to remove the core. There is no need to trim the sides.
You can be fancy and eat with a knife and fork. But I prefer to simply hold the piece in my hand. That is why I don't remove the skin. I want the skin so I can hold the piece with my hand, just like a piece of watermelon.

People pay attention. DO NOT THROW OUT OR REMOVE THE CORE. It’s perfectly edible and nutrient dense. It’s hardness is similar to eating a carrot. The skin can also be eaten which is abundant with enzymes and minerals.

This isn't the "Best" way for me, although there are many methods. I like to cut the ends off, then in quarters. I cut the core out of each and skin the pineapple like you would a fish. You can even pre cut the sections so when its "skinned" they fall off ready to go. It seems like you lose less fruit that way.
