Also, does he STILL to this day after all his playing, not know that you can cancel into DI from special cancelable moves, and that hitting someone using DI makes it come out slower? Hes always like "yup he recovered in time, always using safe moves" but a lot of the time its because the opponent usually is using moves that can be cancelled, or they hit them with quick moves to extend their counter DI timer. Hes a "master" rank and he still doesnt understand the most basic mechanics
If you can cancel it to make it safe then it's a safe move

A guy here on RUclips did an examination of Phil's inputs. They are literally all over the place. With those hamfisted inputs he's lucky to ever get a move out when he wants it. Phil responded to that video with- "Everybody knows the computer doesn't show all of your inputs and sometimes it shows the exact opposite of what you did, so looking at the inputs means nothing."
