Andrew that's quite a place, you out did your self finding this great place.. I don't think I have ever seen anything like this, it's truly off the charts.
Andrew, you are doing an amazing job recently! Thanks for bringing this video on-line. I have a huge appreciation for how cool this place is and I added it to our bucket list. Simply stunning and you filmed on the perfect day and in full bloom!
Ballard’s Resort is a hidden gem for anyone looking to relax and connect with nature. The lush landscapes, tranquil lake, and wide array of outdoor activities make it a nature lover’s paradise. Whether it’s kayaking at sunrise or stargazing at night, every moment here feels special and rejuvenating.
We full timed for 12 years and had the opportunity to work at Kirks parents campground for 4 summers. We know Kirk very well. Knew him as a young man and are so proud of what he has accomplished.

How exciting as I feel that I could live here for most of the season. I don’t see too many children but what lovely people. Are animals permitted? This has gone to the top of my list of places I want to experience. What happens during the winter months? Many thanks to everyone who took part in this video especially to Andrew. Dean, Lance, Kirk, the neighbors, Petoskey, Harbor Springs... It was all so impressive, we altered our retirement course by ninety degrees and became Hearthside property owners, ourselves. Two things not mentioned: Kirk's energetic sons and wife, who along with several other devoted young people keep this place going. I'll take the $579K lot shown in this video over the one in Florida you showed a couple videos back that was for sale for $1.4M. Not even a difficult choice. Yeah, I understand you get Michigan winters with this one, but I still prefer RVing up north.

Ive never heard of this place but man it looks like one of the nicest RV parks in the USA.. not sure I like it being so far north but man its beautiful. My wife and I are planing to buy a RV and do some traveling in the coming retirement years and this is now on our list of places to visit.
A question for people who do NOT live in the midwest: Would you even come to this place? It strikes me the people in the video love this place because it is suburbia. They talk about the shopping and eating. Do most people buy an RV to tour suburbs? I find people from other areas of the nation love naturally beautiful places, not suburban settings. Perhaps the RV "resort" of the future will strive to look more like the Rockies, beach settings and gorgeous mountain lakes instead of this. The setting of this "resort" reminds me of a project we once worked on for a major ski resort in the east. It was coming along nicely until a VP demanded we put a cheesy fountain in the middle of a wild brook trout lake. Our response was "we are done here". Readers, what do you prefer to see in a high end resort, nature or suburbia?
Having been born and raised in big city suburbia and then lived more than 20 years in Petoskey, I can assure you the word "suburbia" in no way applies to the area. Clearly, you have never visited this breathtaking part of the country. Smh
@@shutupshelley1793 When I say place I mean this RV park in particular. The place looks exactly like what you would see in a suburb, not nature. I am not referring to the surrounding area.
So cool Andrew! I would love to visit there. No motorCoach though just my 🍒 💣 van lol. The grounds are just beautiful. The towns sound like fun and Mackinac Island is on my bucket list!! This was a Fantastic Video love love love!♥️
I started watching this and was like oh I must visit when I retire. Then I realized it is very elite and our 5th wheel Artic Fox probably would stand out. Regardless, beautiful
You can have fun without that kind of dough. Buy your own acreage. I have 5 acres in the country with hills and creeks and lake bear by. Less than $20,000 !
I have heard of this resort previously. Beautiful Resort. Andrew, just wondering if in your travels you have found something like it that allows 5th wheels.
My 5 acres with hundreds of acres all around me and views of hills and a beautiful creek cost us $16,500… 8 years ago. I can’t imagine paying $600,000 for an acre of land 🤪 That’s stupid on steroids. But, to each their own.
Thank you! Good Lord. Only the extraordinarily wealthy can consider these coaches and places like this to stay. Give me 15 acres and a nice/decent house on a hill/rise with trees and running water!
I'm sold...this development sells itself without words. I'll check out their website. Im wondering how large is it and what are the common areas vs the private lot areas. I want to be very respectful of someone personal and no trespassing requests.
I’m currently in Crescent city to cool off Northern California and it’s been in the 50s and 60s in August here I came at the end of July I’ll stay till 29 August thank you

Nature !!!
Nature for miles
One comment had a good point. How do they keep homemade motorhomes out of this place? Old modified school busses and such???
This was one of your best videos I think I will be checking out this one more thank you Andrew great video 👍
Absolutely beautiful
Wow andrew, you knocked it out of the park again. Thanks
Why have a coach if you have a house on the property?
I started watching this and was like oh I must visit when I retire. Then I realized it is very elite and our 5th wheel Artic Fox probably would stand out. Regardless, beautiful
Must be nice to have the greenbacks to have fun. Great job Andrew 👍😎
You can have fun without that kind of dough. Buy your own acreage. I have 5 acres in the country with hills and creeks and lake bear by. Less than $20,000 !
Thank you for sharing such a beautiful resort! Added to bucket list 😎
This Resort is amazing!
Absolutely gorgeous. 💯
Andrew do you know if any of these places have a golf course.
Wow no words😯. If I were a lottery winner I know where I would be staying absolutely beautiful place.
I have heard of this resort previously. Beautiful Resort. Andrew, just wondering if in your travels you have found something like it that allows 5th wheels.
Well, so how many months in the year is this place livable? No outdoor kitchen in a blizzard!
if only i could hit the lottery - id give almost anything to have a lux motor coach & stay at resorts like this … what a dream 😌💭 😍❤
I hope your dreams come true.
Thanks for the info and intro to this RV Resort Andrew. We will have to check it out.
Amazing interview and beautiful lots!
WOW! JUST WOW!
My 5 acres with hundreds of acres all around me and views of hills and a beautiful creek cost us $16,500… 8 years ago. I can’t imagine paying $600,000 for an acre of land 🤪
That’s stupid on steroids. But, to each their own.
Thank you! Good Lord. Only the extraordinarily wealthy can consider these coaches and places like this to stay.
Give me 15 acres and a nice/decent house on a hill/rise with trees and running water!
What is average nightly and monthly rate?
I'm sold...this development sells itself without words. I'll check out their website. Im wondering how large is it and what are the common areas vs the private lot areas. I want to be very respectful of someone personal and no trespassing requests.
What’s the Temperature range normally there in August typically?
You can look it up 😊
It’s northern Michigan.
I’m going to guess. 70-80 in Aug
I’m currently in Crescent city to cool off Northern California and it’s been in the 50s and 60s in August here I came at the end of July I’ll stay till 29 August thank you
Hands down the neatest video you have done
Now you need to visit Motorcoach Country Club, in the winter months of course. 😊👍🏻
Wow great video man renting a space there is not that expensive, you should do more videos like that at other locations around the country good job 👍🏾
