The pale rider guy with the purple head reminds me of the godskin armor designs almost like they were made to look like him

I for one love the longer format, since I mostly watch lore videos when I’m trying to sleep.. I have troubles sleeping in so I usually get close to finishing the longer videos which is great 😂
Those candle holders look like the “spine” being pulled out of homies body by his head.
At 12:13 me and my buddy noticed that the banners on the wall behind the knight and tarnished seem to have a combination of the omen twins runes on it. It looks like there are 2 figures facing each other on each side. Plus the line through the middle is whole and Mohg and Morgotts runes seem to connect like puzzle pieces. Perhaps this castle was built to worship the omen before the crucible and all related to is were cast out of the golden order. Perhaps a Great Rune of the Divine Twins? Twins?
It looks like the same crest that Mesmer has on his cape and on the collector edition box. So I guess it's his banner ?

Topic suggestions for later videos. Are Shadowbound beasts from the shadowlands? Who are the "saints" that were losing the war. Could the lady sleeping in the field with a mask actually be related to the white masks?
Also mesmer's name etymology coming from the sexton position of the church is an interesting thing to consider as well
I think the butterfly spell might be related to the bewitching branch and the magic used by the nox to control the ants they ride
They're repositioning lava for purposes of war, maybe creating more burning giant "strawmen', maybe zoning purposes a.i. making areas unaccessible with lava, filling pots full of lava (alexander could survive it withouth cracking) and giving them to trolls to throw at people similar to the glintstone pot slinging troll near gowrys shack
12:19 Architecture looks a lot similar to what Fortified Manor's looks like in Leyendel and that was supposed to be for Godfrey and his Crucible knights I think? It's also the original roundtable hold thing so yeah maybe a connection there.
In my opinion, Messmer is the 'guardian of the shadow/veil,' or I mean he guards that veil behind which lies the original Erdtree and the true land in between...

On the cover art with messsmer for the dlc, there seems to be a giant like character with a hammer looking down at the great pillar on the right of the picture, next to the cathedral lookin building
Your videos just hit different, i don't know what it is lol. But seriously, elden wait before the release of the game was so much fun.
If you look at the scene in the trailer with that big weird column that is sucking up lava it looks like the player character is holding a smaller version of the red spear that pierces Marika. It looked like they were holding it in the offhand so it might be a catalyst.
i wish you were right but to me it just looks like a meteorite staff to me that just gets the red light of the lava casted on it

Yeh that is weird that it’s just the DLC and no game included. Maybe they’ll change it between now and then 🤔

Unhinged theory time : I think that when we see Miquella lifting his hand towards the tree...Maybe it's not the end of the dlc but a cutscene showing what he did to make the tree flow with sap again. If he's been in this world since before the events of the main game maybe he's been there for a very long time. In some cut content we learn that he is associated abondance. I could see him arriving in the land of shadow, see the decrepit tree and bring it back to life. Then hiding the land with at veil to make sure nobody disturbs his plans ? Maybe the screenshot from a year ago is accurate and is how the land of shadows looked before Miquella arrived there, how Marika left it. Anyway, thanks if you read this crazy speculation.
Edit : I realized that we already see the sap dripping from the tree in the original screenshot so maybe Miquella didn’t “bring it back to life”.
At 24:53, i dont think i've heard anyone say this yet, but might it be possible that this thing is somehow related to the cemetery shade? i believe it was vaati (or perhaps ziostorm, i cant remember) pointed out in a video that the cemetery shades appeared to be corpses piloted by a headcrab-like parasite, and the close up of it is quite reminiscent of this boss
I'm calling the guy getting kicked in the face the "crucible knight's cavalry" because he's holding the twinblade that has the crucible wings AoW seen later. Another one of these dudes can be seen riding a horse in another art and they look very cavalry-esque.
bro take a closer look at the "hippo". Its a rune bear turning into a dragon. Go frame by frame. 23:39 has a good shot of it standing up. It is the furry body of a bear with a disproportionate dragon head and dragon claws for paws. I think it is either a similar curse to what happened to the magma wyrms, causing the bears to mutate, and allowing us to get dragon communion incantations from killing them. It's kinda like the rune bear in the demo that dropped a dragon heart. maybe there will be several bear-dragon hybrids with different features. Imagine a flying runebear with wings. Or maybe it is some kind of grafted bear dragon abomination.

Probably crazy, but the undead horse guy makes me think about how you have to defeat radahn to accesss dlc… could he be some undead version of radahn? Maybe the glowing eyes are whatever is controlling his corpse

For sure, Miquella saying “touch THE withered arm…” without mention of it being their arm is suspicious. You’d think they’d have said as much but it’s Elden ring so honestly who knows haha
So when Mohg grabs it and says "Dearest Miquella", should we assume he knows that the arm is a teleporter to the Shadow Land? Then, how do you explain that shot in the intro of Mohg taking Miquella? And why would Messmer be in a cocoon in the Haligtree? The Haligtree is Miquella's project, supposedly grown from his own blood.

@@varden506 I think it is more represent a fantastical metaphysical interaction, rather than “oh, touch the arm even though it’s not MY arm”
Him saying “touch the arm” is meant to symbolise his possible godhood ascension. He needs a material body no more. His spirit is cut from his body, almost as if he sees them as two separate things now. Now all he needs is the tarnished to do something that is, currently, unknown to us

Other dark souls games imply that life forms devolved from dragons. The dragons like greyoll, adula, ect., devolve from the dragons like fortisax, placidusax, ect., maybe the runebears further degenerate from the lesser dragons, rather than turn into them.
at 15:40 those look like minarets, maybe a little Persian how they're spread out from the center. Does It look like a lighter sandstone/limestone or is it the lighting?

I can't believe you lied to us. Edit: no discredit to your intention and hard work but I did enjoy the 5-10 ish min videos better since I mostly watch these during my dinner or something. 50 min videos are something I never really get into. Just FYI. No hate or anything just some constructive feedback from someone who really enjoys your stuff.

Yeah I suppose for a creator it's a hard thing to please it all. Just my youtube experience. I'd rather click on a video that's 1-5 minutes than a video that's 40-50 min. Still, I'll try to give you the time to watch these. Really hope you get all the praise you deserve mate.@@LoreHunter
