Panel or taskbar will be configured easier when you go to MX-Tweak. On the first Tab you can switch to a horizontal tasbar. When you use this, the enlinement and the positions from the icons, especially trhe menu-button will be in the correct position.

Very cool video , I tried it, but the external HDMI monitor is not detected, other os detect it and the monitor menu detect the input source. I installed Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 drivers too. How can I fix it? Thanks for your attention.

Someone pls help Sania to get the pronunciations corrected. There are some many mis-pronunciations and MTIs. It's funny and irritating at the end. Mostly compared to other similar videos it's very shameful for us (Indians.. ) to have such wrong pronunciations.. There is nothing special about the rest of the content. Very commonly available.

sudo apt update only updates your local catalog of available packages, in order to get the up to date software you then have to run sudo apt upgrade

The new version of MX the firewall is enabled by default.
To get to settings just click the MX black box and then click the green spanner at the top......
