What's about fixing basic stuff after installing Manjaro? Sorry, it's not against you, but I'm comming from MS Win and wanted to switch to Linux but it's a mess. Why hibernation didn't work with BTRFS and encryption? This problem is since January present. It's very disappointing.
I am not a professional at using GNU+Linux, but I suggest you contact the BTRFS (BTR File-System) developers, and the Manjaro developers (in the case of the Encryption thing). And also: Why are you using the file-system-called-“BTRFS”? Is there a particular reason why you went with that one instead-of XFS or ZFS or EXT4? Also: For being-able-to-use the “Hibernate” feature of your computer, make sure that your “swap” partition (if you are using that instead-of a “ “swap” file”) is at-least DOUBLE the amount of your R.A.M. (ie. Random-Access Memory). Otherwise you’ll have a-heck-of-a-hard-time getting the “Hibernate” function/feature to work. Also: as a final thing, don’t confuse “Sleep” with “Hibernate” with “Suspend” with “Standby”. They are different things. Usually/Last I heard, the words “Suspend” & “Standby” were used interchangeably in Windows to describe the same thing but in GNU+Linux things could be different. (I’ll update this comment/post if I find-out that in GNU+Linux “Suspend” & “Standby” are the same thing).

I can not click preferences as it is hollowed out
I see buttons to install new kernels but no way of switching to the newly installed ones
What is that add remove prog called your looking at I'd like to add it to my pure arch build I'm still learning if not possible just tell me lol
I know it's been a while since you asked, but JUST in case you never got an answer, it is called Pamac and it can be found in the AUR.
How did you install the non free driver for Network controller?
