Watching this game makes me want to play it and be bored by it at the same time. Kage makes many games look good, though. So, I will just keep on enjoying this game through him. Thanks Kage!
Tips. 1.) To reduce gas consumption you need to keep generators in the green so your going to want to build the "larger generator" for things like spot lights and recycler but you will need the blueprint for it. 2.) You can craft military grenades but you need the blueprint for it. 3.) Using wall traps are the best way because if like 6+ of them walk right behind each other it can severely injure all 6 or kill all 6 so make sure to carry a stack of wood and run around resetting traps once the enemies back off and start shooting them you can deal with the rest easily. 4.) Place down poles in between the defense walls places down a floor you then can stand atop the defensive walls and remain rather protected it's *although depending on how you play depends how good this is for you*
Like you were saying, they like to attack chests...try to build 1 platform, 1or 2 platform length out and add a couple chest of stuff you don't need...when they start to attack you, they will go after the chest...just throw a couple grenades out to the platform and you'll wipe them all out...just a thought 😊
LOL amazing. I too had that thought! Although I was thinking of a long corridor platform similiar to the Boat Dock section. Line the walls up with the traps so theyre forced to go down the narrow way to get to the chests and shoot them in the back; or grenade them
19:12-19:20 Also with the walls, on my screen the green shading when your turning the wall to place it are 2 different shades of green and one green is more solid. I don’t know if that would help you in determining inside frame versus outside but hope it helps
You can try placing a few chests with items in them on the barricaded wall to focus them to the nearest loot while still keeping your defensive walls up for the strays.
If you put 2 foundations on top over the hole at the top floor and a detector on it,and the siren, just to try it out. The detector should act before they start shooting tho.
Base is looking great, but if you don't want them on your base maybe put defensive spikes or barricades on the edges so they can't get over. Great content
yes but it´s easier to se hit them with grenade when you are on the platform. but i think he needs to leave a spot open in the spikes so they all try to crawl up the same place makes it more easy to hit all of them with one grenade
Towers in the corners, 1-2 blocks out, then should easily control the sides. Walkway "ring" a couple of blocks in, so can easily move between towers and also attack from it if needed. Might only need 2 towers, since 1 corner can control 2 sides.
Hey Kage, did you try to place the wall trap then remove the tall wall and place instead the barricade. Also have your tried to do the same and place those wall traps right at the edge of the foundations close to the water so as soon as they jump on your base they get smashed by the traps? Let me know if that works or I'll see that in your next video :)
@Kage848 It works both ways! Now, you think it's okay because you can hit them but they can hit your inner walls and their tissue paper compared to the walls you're taking away. The barriers are a joke because you can jump over them and in theory they should also be able to jump ove them. But you know they can shoot over them! I'd say stick with the grenades and use the high walls to contain the blast and keep your grenades from boucing into the deep blue! Grenades are weak in the water. Keep the blast on the platform!
If you wanna use the spikes for funneling, it may be worth sticking them on your foundations. They'd either have to move around or tread water for a substantial amount of time, either of which would move them into easy pickings territory.
i like how you always comment on the walls being not in line. but then right after you say that it does not matter that much to you. and then a few sec later you are rearranging them hehe. you have OCD but trying to ease yourself with words that it does not matter hehe so funny
Just my opinion Kage, but I think the issue you're having with the spotlights is in the name. They are "spotlights" not floodlights. Big difference in usage.
This game reminds me so much of a mobile game called Last Day on Earth. Used to love playing it until it got extremely grindy, repetitive and the always online aspect was a turn-off.
That action hero jump in to 2 shotgun hits to the chest… epic 😂. Glad you lived

Hi Kage, in my opinion, you should make full walls and full barricades directly on the limit of your base, no way to jump from the sea for them :)

Just leave the lights in the on position and turn on the generator when a nighttime raid starts.

u should put stair around ur base so they can't get on ur base platform

Maybe you can mount the searchlights on top of poles to even get some more range might look cool too
Ballistic fiber is worth alot at the trader just an FYI. Great videos bud 👍
The wooden barricade and the barbwire can be placed on just about anything (No snapping though)
You will be able to make the military grenades eventually, there's a blueprint.
You can craft military grenades in the ammo bench I believe. I think it takes iron and smokeless powder.
You could maybe add one more spotlight to get rid of those dark spots without using lamps.

Is it possible to put the unwanted barricades in the recycler? And what resources do you get out of it?
you can craft grenades if you find the blueprint
I had same problem with traps.. build wall.... then build trap,... then demolish wall and build barricade... trap stays.
Watching this at 8:48 cst
Kage, why not put spikes on the outermost foundations?
Can you build the walls, add the wire defense, pick up the wall, and replace it with a barricade?
@Kage848

Pretty sure u cant pick the walls up inside because they are supporting structures above them ...

Im trying to ignore it but it aint easy lol
Hey man big fan
Keep uploading this great content
I think you can put spikes on barricades
Have you been harvesting your trees? You say you need wood .....😊

They nerfed the speed on the Marine boat, I get appr. 125 KPH max (Used to be 140+) however the huge hitpoints are great.
Bro where did you get that carpet on flour

Now You Know
Why demo .....just pick it up and store it in a box for later use....

First time first bruh
This game needs ziplines
