    In This video I compare between the Nokia X30 5G and its more affordable sibling, the Nokia G60 5G. Both devices are new midrangers from Nokia, with the X30 being tailored towards Nokia fan who value quality and style, while the G60 is aimed at practical price conscious users. The comparison includes hardware, design, build quality, software, performance, battery life, as well as camera performance of each device. So is the Nokia X30 worth spending the extra money over the Nokia G60?

    Nice review! I've had the Nokia 5.3 for the last 3 years and it has been fantastic but I'm looking at getting a new upgrade. I'm glad I went back to Nokia and really missed them! I remember having Nokia phones way back in the late 90s and playing snake! So yeah I'm looking at the X30 or G60 as an upgrade. I looked at the XR21 but it's a bit expensive that one. Thanks, nice review! : )

    As someone who uses Nokia 7 Plus for almost 4 years, I would go for the X30. I like how it's more compact than the G60, and with travelling now a part of my new job, I would go for a more convenient phone when it comes to size and weight. I can consider it as a successor of the 7 Plus more than the G60.
    I currently own a G50, and I can't really get to like it because it's too heavy and too big. Which is why I prefer a more compact one this time.

    I was going to get the G60 just because it’s far more practical. But somehow when ordering, my thumb slipped and I ordered the X30 8/256 in white. I just couldn’t resist having top end. I figured 256 was plenty enough memory given there’s no card slot. If I’m honest the X30 in white looks wise has really grown on me although I do wish the camera was in the middle and circular. And the lure of amoled pulled me in. Great comparison thanks.

    Arrrrghhhh, you are making a compelling argument for both devices! LOL 🤣 As always a thorough review and excellent comparison of both these devices for those looking to purchase a new one or upgrade those they already have. I'm one of those people, as I am slowly but surely starting to look for my next device, which I definitely want to be another Nokia. There's a lot to like about the X30 which definitely reminds me of the 8.3 in terms of its built quality and premium features. The Nokia 8.3 5G is a device that will be exceedingly difficult to replace! However, from all the aspects you listed, form factor, screen size, battery size and life, available features (like the micro SD card slot, headphone jack etc) and a few others, makes me lean towards the G60 as a purchase and upgrade choice. The water resistance is definitely a very attractive feature for the X30. In terms of the G60, one of the things that bothers me...and I know this will sound superficial as it is more or a cosmetic issue...I don't like the "nipple" ...LOL 😂 okay, okay, teardrop camera notch. If it had the now more common hole punch notch, it would have been outstanding. Ugh...I'll continue to wait and see for now... maybe a successor for the XR20 will be announced sooner rather than later...now THAT is a smartphone I'd get behind rather quickly!

    Thank you very much Abdulla. I bought G60 and I kind love it. It's not perfect but more I use it more I like it. I bought it becouse micro sd expandable storage and larger display. The only thing that bothers me about the screen is that there is not enough nits brightnes on sunlight. It should have at least 600nits. Another bad thing is the speaker, which is too quiet. The quality of the conversation during phone calls is quite poor, as the back part of the plastic vibrates. The most dissapointig is battery life. It lasts only a day or even less. What is commendable is the fast performance, very fast charging and the phone feels very light in hand. Phone design is not that bad it's quite pleasing and feels premium. Bluetooth connectivity is very good, especially with nokia wireless headphones. The camera itself is pretty good in this price range. Photos taken in daylight in raw format are quite stunning. Overal it is a good phone for that price. But I'm still waiting for the next flagship.😁

    I like how they segmented their product this time. G50 and X10 was positioned pretty close that if X10 was on discount, that would be a better buy
    Personally I'll take the X30. That Ice color is hard to resist. 256GB is good enough for me to not have SD slot. Lack of headphone jack is still regrettable though. I heard the X30 comes with IR blaster but never seen any reviewers try it

    • @AbdullaZaki
      @AbdullaZaki  Год назад +2

      Yup, very clearly distinct especially in real life.
      IR blaster is mentioned on GSMarena but on the phone itself there is no way to enable it. I don't even know if it's actually there or not...

    • @haziqsembilanlima
      @haziqsembilanlima Год назад +2

      @@AbdullaZaki you can try using Xiaomi Remote Control. IR blaster doesn't have on/off toggle and its API only covers blaster/transmitter function

      @@AbdullaZaki I think it is only used for face unlock in low-light, check the top-right of the phone when waking the display in the dark and you can see the green light which is different from the camera privacy indicator. A nice touch.

    I am looking to replace my much loved Nokia Lumia 930 which has excellent speaker quality for music (box seen in back ground) which between the G60 and the X30 would you choose?

    • @AbdullaZaki
      @AbdullaZaki  Год назад

      Honestly both don't have excellent speakers. Between them X30, but some units have a defective speaker so if you wanna go ahead with that, just keep an eye for that issue.

    I don't understand why by the tests and reviews the camera of the Nokia X 30 here in Europe is always bad evaluated. It's at least as good or even better than by the iPhone not only by daylight also at night.
