It's been my monitor for a year and a half, and I'm really happy with it. I can't imagine getting another one. However, burn-in is real on this panel; two months ago, I had to send it in for warranty because burn-in had already occurred. I mainly use it for work and gaming, and there aren't many static images displayed for extended periods. Still, the panel experienced this issue. Samsung Portugal handled the matter very well and was quick to resolve it. If money isn't an issue and you're not afraid of burn-in, I highly recommend buying this monitor. It's incredible! A truly unique experience.
Thanks for your insight and for sharing your journey with this monitor! 😊 It’s good to know the experience has been mostly positive, and I’m glad Samsung Portugal addressed the burn-in issue so well.
Nice! upload my friend. I could see that tweaking the fov, could be a bit of a game changer with that monitor... Hmm, I'm dropping out if I see you in the server/game 🤣. Cheers - Au
True, I'll try tweak the field of view and see what difference it makes. Haha I'm trash 😂😂 . The moment I see you in the server, that's where my game ends 😂😂
What do you think about the curvature of the screen versus the regular G9? That's been my biggest sticking point with the OLED, everything else is clearly superior, but having to turn your head to see things in the corners feels like a major downgrade.
@@GameRoomHero honestly speaking I prefer the aggressive curve of the Neo G9 but it’s not that big of an issue compared to the all the good things the G9 OLED comes with
i notiched u had mac and windows open next to each other? how do u set that up? just by using the hdmi and displayport? or is there additional steps to connecting other devices or consoles?
Using Picture by Picture mode I have windows on one side and Mac on the other then to make it seamless, I’m using a software called synergy to go back and forth between Mac and windows using the same keyboard and mouse
You've got the sickest keyboard and just general setup/gaming room vibe I've ever seen.
Thanks mate, it’s been a work in progress and I think it’s finally hit the sweet spot
