    Finding one of your reviews on a bag I’m thinking of getting is like consulting a wise wizard deep in the RUclips disc golf forest 😂👍

    Definitely looks like one of the bags the grizzled vets carried when I was a kid learning to play in the late 90's

    Great review. I had this Fade Crunch in red. LOVED it. Miss it greatly. Could not say enough good about it. The four feet on the bottom are great for dirt and wet ground. Rarely fell. Good for 10-12 discs plus a big side pocket for a thin long sleeve shirt plus. As you can see you can fit a LOT in there! The zipper is good keys/wallet. Clips for towel is nice. The normal strap is great but the pad is so so. Everything else is A+ I agree this is the BEST budget bag out there.

    This is the first bag I’ve ever bought. 4 years later and it’s still basically brand new. Interesting to see the single strap isn’t a single piece, mine definitely goes all the way through it.. Either way super solid bag! I use it still for putter only rounds.

    Picking one up today, loved the review 👌 very informative. I dig the messenger bag style very much so.

    Great review as always! I own this bag and I will say that at first the bottle holder was tight but now I can fit a 32oz insulated bottle in without issue. Something that might be helpful is if you put the basic info of each bag in the description. Weight cost and number of discs with a set number of putters and mids (4 putters 5 midranges and x drivers for example) would be helpful at a glance. As always keep up the great work.

    Doths review of this bag is spot on both +/-. Mostly play PA N NJ hilly/rocky and I’ve worn through 2 of these in the exact same color. 10 yrs give or take. Loved them. The shoulder pad they come with wore quicker than I like swapped with one of the many laptop straps that pass through my work. My very first “bag” was on old soft lunchbox my kids weren’t using so this was a huge upgrade and oddly enough lighter.
    I have an unexplainable hatred for back packs buddies and people using those baby strollers on the course. However, As I age there are days I do envy carting (with my 8 discs and putters). Room for a finder or 2. My buddy and I play throw and go golf. Perfect size to get out early, play through groups, still take the game serious enough to curse every tree, and be home by noon. No durability issues, but the size is limiting when wearing layers and you want to shed clothes. I was going to go with a Revolution mini but was unable to kit it with the strap I wanted, conversely was able to order a Carolina for even money including the extra padded quad strap I wanted. Going big or going home, I may hate the extreme size change but rationalized I’ll add the mini if needed as I’ll have the harness i wanted. But I REALLY have liked the crush.

    Sweet review Doth per-usual, definitely thinking out picking one up as a light bag for my work days. Do you think you could do a video on backpack style clip on straps for bags like these? I looked for the shock ones you mentioned and they seem to no longer be in production. It would be very helpful because clearly its the way to go with these bags.

      Or if you just have a recommendation right now that would also work I really want one of these bags but I want to get the right straps for it the first time. Thanks again!

      Thanks for the idea on reviewing straps. I want to do that. I will start looking at how many straps are out there and consider making a review on them. If I had to buy another pair right now I would try the DGA Gel-Strapz. They are like $35. I've never tried them so I can't promise they are good, but they look interesting for sure.

    Great videos as always. Really dig watching them. If ya do the mvp bag maybe try an overmold and give a review there just aren't many videos or much detailed info on them. I wonder if the same "wing differences" produce the same flight changes with said overmold. Thanks again, look forward to the next video.

    • @DothSavek
      @DothSavek  3 года назад +1

      I have done measurements on a number of Octanes and Photons. I have not found wing issues on them and I doubt that will be a problem on over mold discs. What did make a difference in the flight was how much dome they had. Based on the couple molds I have tested the dome is what to look for on over mold discs.

    • @johnhaggerton1775
      @johnhaggerton1775 3 года назад +1

      @@DothSavek awesome. Thanks! The only thing I have noticed besides the dome effecting personally is on some molds the newer ones seem to have a bit more over mold than prior runs. Volt for instance. Thanks again for putting out great vids.

    Would like to hear your thoughts on the Trooper. Especially with Innova, MVP and now Infinite putting out almost exact copies of it as well. And more pup cameos please.

    • @DothSavek
      @DothSavek  3 года назад +1

      I ordered one of each from DD, Innova, and MVP. There are some slight differences but its pretty clear they share the same design. I struggled with feeling like I could provide a good review for them as I felt like they are designed as a throw away item that was manufactuered to cut every corner and save every penny possible. Really I just had a bad attitude about them and was not willing to record a review in that circumstance. I donated all 3 bags to a logal youth league instead of making videos for them. I'm realizing that I will run out of bigger bags to review so If I want to keep making bag videos then I probably need to try again at providing good commentary for cheaper bags. Maybe I will work back to those 3 at some point. Thanks for the request! More Lola to come for sure.

    My brother-in-law got me this bag, in orange, for Christmas in the early 2010s.
    Looks like Fade Gear may have faded out of existence. Their website isn't working and their last Facebook post is from 2018.
    Finally starting to outgrow the Crunch Box after years of use and enjoyment. Looking into the Grip EQ BX2 as it should carry both more discs and everything else.

      This is funny because I carry a Grip BX2 and was looking at the crunch box for mellow par 3 putter and mid courses because I end up walking around with a backpack with 6 discs in it. 😆
