    Have you done a review on the squatch bags from sasquatch disc golf?

      I have been testing the Legend from Squatch. I've not tested it enough to do a full review yet, but I did do a live stream when I unboxed the bag if you would like to check that out for now. ruclips.net/video/yY_lUvXztUk/видео.html

    Thanks for the vids, Savek. Think I’ll acquire a rebel come spring. Any thoughts on their little pinch bag by chance?

      I've never seen one of the Pinches in person I don't think. I will keep an eye out for one

      @@DothSavek Do you plan on reviewing the supposedly updated Latitude 64 Easy Go V2 bag by chance? I know it’s not quite comparable to the Rebel.

      @@DothSavek Thanks for responding. Yup I saw that video and a preview video. Just looking forward from one from you since your analysis is always so on point. In any case if it happens it happens.

    Colors on that DGPT bag are nice. But the 12-16 disc bag wouldn’t the grip c series fit that spot perfectly?

    • @DothSavek
      @DothSavek  3 года назад +1

      I want to say 16 discs is too many to fit in the CS, but yes the CS is a clear contender. Im hung up on hating that they deleted the tall side pockets from the CS, which is maybe foolish of me, but its hard to love a bag for what it is now when it used to be so much better imo. That stops me from recommending it when maybe I still should bring it up.

    How did this bag ride? Did your Nalgenes get in the way?

    • @DothSavek
      @DothSavek  2 года назад +1

      With a Nalgene or any taller bottle you do have to be a bit careful with your elbows when putting your arm through the strap. Also it feels like the bag is crowding me a bit when I wear it because the bottle holders are very close under my arms. Its not a deal breaker for me but it is noticeable and you might smack your elbows a few times before you get used to it.
      Those are the only complaints I have about fit, other than that the bag is comfortable and carries really well for me

    If you fold the front pocket into 4 sections, and not rolled, the front felt pocket can be made to face forward and be useable when stored in the front webbing.

    Love the Rebel and I really like that version. The top mini pocket is perfect for my handkerchief and it definitely works well for filming shots during rounds for form checks and what not. The main compartment on the Rebel is definitely my favorite feature but I love having my 2 main putters and 4 main approach discs in the upper area as well.

    Atlas bag is from the guys at Foundation Disc Golf. Separate company but same guys. I loved it at first but the Atlas “pseudo support” really makes the bag super saggy over time. I struggle to keep it upright after about 40 rounds, but it has a starter price point at $90.
    Just ordered a Rebel!

    If you're looking for a 12-16 disc bag, I would highly recommend the Latitude 64 Easy Go v2 bag. It holds up to 17 comfortably. It's the best bag I've owned. I would highly recommend reviewing one. They just came out with the v2.

    These bags look like shit for that kind of money, flimsy sides and those straps sound like a problem.

    • @DothSavek
      @DothSavek  3 года назад +12

      If I left you with the impression that this bag looks like shit for the $$ it cost then I think I failed, or maybe you only tuned in for a short portion of the stream.
      Either way I know this bag has a cult following and is loved by nearly all who try it.
      I took it out for a round today and it held everything I put in it very well, the 4 interior pockets and 2 low outside pockets are so nice. That is 6 spots for wallet, keys, range finder, whale sac, speed gun, ect. I love having dedicated spots for those items. Also the very top pocket by the haul loop is probably now my favorite spot on any bag to place my cell phone, its held securely and could not be easier to access quickly. As far as disc storage it worked flawlessly today.
      Also I found that the forced curve on the back held the bag somewhat away from me and allowed some more air flow which was nice with how humid it was today.
      I hope saying those things help you see the value in this bag. Notating them all has certainly helped me round the corner to understanding why the Rebel is so popular.
