Seriously thank you. I did not cloth diaper my first nor I have sewin much since I was a child. Once you do cloth diapering you might as well do cloth wipes. It makes it easier!
Easy pezzz and good for Mother Earth ! Great 👍 idea, I would be making some for my car and for in my house , wipes in the kids back packs. Love that corner trick at 45 degree angle ! Brilliant . You come up with many practical ideas. Will make some as Christmas gifts so my friends, family join in this ecological journey . Thanks 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Glad you like it. I suspect I have trouble with my corners because I never clip them close enough to the stitching and I only seem to change the needle if it breaks! c x
I'm trying my best. Don't use kitchen paper, wet wipes, or cotton pads. I've not given up the loo paper yet but I still get irritated that it's still wrapped in plastic, c x
Pillowcasing is the term I was taught for finishing the edge like this... it's great for a printed panel and flannel backing on a baby blanket but push out your edges properly, iron it and do a finished edge seam.
Hello, quick question: Toilet paper got very expensive for me. I am using for No.1 only some old towel wipes. Now i want to sew flannel for my daughter (3women household) How would you make them? We are using dryer. Flannel in small pieces usually comes out as a golf ball. Pressing seams to be too much time/effort. 1 layer flannel is enough. 8x4 inches should be enough... And also women pads: most move around in underware. They do not stay in place like the bought once with glue stripes. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thank you from the US..
Sorry for the very slow reply, I'm honestly not sure. For no.1 I think I'd go and buy some cheap towelling face flannels, dampen them and wipe clean. They're bigger than you need but they'll hold their shape in the washer/dryer. As for the pads, I kept thinking about making them and you would need to add wings to the sides with a couple of poppers to hold them round the gusset of your knickers. The alternative (although expensive to start with) is a silicon Moon Cup - I never liked the idea but they are a game changer and last for about 10 years if cleaned and stored properly, c x

After a busy day, I get to grab my hand sewing and watch this video! You make me smile! Thank you so much for posting this video!
Glad you like it Brenda. What are you handsewing? c x
Great vlog and love the corner tip, thank you😊
Perfect. Will make some for sure!! Make reusable paper towels for Christmas gifts this year (2021)
Great idea for those of us that worry about the planet. Thank you x

Great idea if using when. Out and about get a container that takes clean and used 😀
Good idea! c x

Thanks for the corner top stitching tip
Makes life soooo much easier! c x
Excellent, many thanks Corinne 👍
I make napkins this way. It's so much easier than mitering corners! (And you can use both sides.)
Definitely! I hate hemming and mitring squares, they're so fiddly! c x
Nice corners ❤
Awesome idea & tips. 😍👍will definitely be making some!!!!

I’d use them for home wipes; travel wipes, for me, would be disposable and in a more compact packaging- like zip bag.
Yes, you can make them any size and they're great for using up fabric that you don't need for anything else, c x
Love them 💕
What should be done with the dirty wipes once used? Any good ideas?
Chuck them in with the usual wash to use again and again. Once they're beyond use, put them on the compost heap if they're made from cotton x
@@TheCraftsChannel Thank you. I was imagining using them in my car, so would need to store them there for a short while.
@@jamee6 Yes, sorry, realised what you mean now. Maybe another plastic takeaway box for the dirty ones? c x
