I started using cloth tp ( as I call it) probably 10 yrs ago ( for #1) & never looked back. I just cut up old t- shirts & my husband's underwear when the elastic wears out. I couldn't care less what shape the pieces are...what does it matter? The only thing is cutting pieces a good size. Jersey is great. It's absorbant & doesn't ravel. No sewing needed. I developed a very simple, easy system. I use a clothespin bag to store a supply of clean cloths. I just stuff them in the bags. Quick, easy. Clothespin bags have a hanger in the top & a hole large enough for your hand to reach in. I hang a bag on a hook by the toilet. After using a cloth, I toss it in a small fliptop can that has a removable bucket inside. There is a can near each of our toilets. When it's time to do a load of laundry, I take the buckets out & just dump the contents in my washing machine. Put the buckets back into the fliptop cans. Simple. I've noticed how much less often we need to buy regular tp since I have used cloths for #1. Definitely saves some 💲💵. I actually prefer using cloth...it's so kind to skin. I have never noticed an odor in the fliptop cans.
I love hearing all this! It really does sound like you have it worked out really well. And I totally agree that cloth feels so good and soft against delicate skin! Thanks for sharing your experience! 💜🌱
Well, it really depends on how often you use it and how often you want to wash. The more you have, the less often you have to wash. Consider how many times you pee at home each day, times the number of days you want to go between washes. Of course the less often you wash, the more eco-friendly it is. But I'd suggest not going too long and, in the meantime, to keep the used ones in a tight-fitting container to avoid any smell.
That is a good idea, but people can't take a shower at any moment of the day! Here in Italy we have bidets, which is helpful, but you still need to clean off the bulk of the mess first.
I just love to hear her talk, she has a beautiful voice, and I just loved her nice and long , taking her time to explain how to use and make and save money 🤑🤑🤑, toilet paper cloth saver, you know like life savers, to 🤣 funny...

Especially love the washing tips, adding vinegar to the wash :)
I actually add vinegar to every load of wash now because it helps with hard water, too!
Your hair is so beautiful !!!!
Oh, thanks!

yo utilize pañales de tela en mi hijo, y me funcionaron fantasticamente. esta es una propuesta muy interesante. gracias por compartir
That's wonderful! I also used cloth for my children, and there's no reason why we shouldn't do the same for ourselves!
After you are done with your toilet pls take a shower and save tissue paper
