When my sons were babies 36 and 32 year ago there was just flannels and sponges and Terry towelling nappies and rubber pants we didn't know any other way xxx

I didn't mean the comment in a negative way I'm pleased to see young women going back to using cloth wipes and nappies it's definitely a positive thing my daughter in law uses cloth nappies xx

Yes. And used diapers went into the bucket with vinegar water in it. Once a week the diapers were washed and cooked out on the stove.

I love that it’s not just wipes, there’s a container to keep them nice and wet for using and there’s wet bags for out and about and a dirty box for used ones! I love it!

Just to make other people aware, Cheeky Wipes currently have 20% off everything on their website at the moment for Black Friday - it meant I got the premium kit (normally £45.95) for £36. They also do reusable sanitary pads etc too xxx

Love cheeky wipes, works better cleaning bums than wipes. The kit is nice but now I just wet the cloth and use them. White for bum colour for face.

Thanks for all the information I was thinking of changing to these but I am now definitely going to, only for hands and faces at the minute as I am a childminder. Just hate wet wipes and I use so many of them. Thank you xx

Really good video. I’m a childminder and have been using cloth wipes and nappies with the babies with parents permission and it’s a game changer. The children love the wipes for their hands and faces and also in this weather for their noses when they have colds. These are so soft on their noses. I’m not on my own childminders on mass are turning to these.

thank you for this video, I've been really struggling to push myself to pay for the wipes because it is such a big cost upfront and i usually spend £1 per pack of wipes when their on offer and all the plastic is killing me! i never even thought of just buying the packs of wipes and some boxes from the supermarket or that I've already got in and then adding essential oils i already own!
Thank you so much, definitely subscribing

Fantastic! I'm working up to using this kind of system for myself. I've gotten used to using them for #1 but now am starting to use them for #2. I'll just run the washer on a soak/rinse on hot first then do a wash. That's supposed to work well. Thank you for sharing what you have done!

When my children were small, wipes didn't even exist and I just removed the poo w/ the diaper or toilet paper and washed the baby with a face cloth, using a small pail. Then rince the cloth and pail really well or even washed them and put the dried washcloth in the wash. Then wash my hands w/ soap.

I second what you said about nappy rash I only use wipes while we are out and always wash her when we come home. I dont use these wipes though just cotton pads (unfortunately not environmentally friendly) but just thought it was worth mentioning that my little girl doesnt get nappy rash and I personally think this is why, for anyone weighing up their options about these I think that's a really good selling point, from my personal experience of course

This was super useful and interesting. I used Water Wipes with my little one but now that she's out of nappies, we dont use them any more. Always have a pack in the house but it doesnt get used often. For food, we've always used the sink to wipe her face and wash her hands. If I have any children in future, I will certainly consider cloth wipes after such an informative video. Thank you! :) x

    Hey Charlotte,
Thanks for promoting this Australian brand! I first saw them on your channel recently and realized that I’d already purchased a pack of their wipes a month earlier wanting to use them for our little one due early next year in the bath! Little did I realize what I’d stumbled upon. I’m on the fence about cloth nappies just because it looks like our little one could come early and be in the NICU like your Daisy and I don’t know if I will have the head space to deal with cloth at the hospital. But I feel like the wipes are something we can do. With all the media on disposable wipes here in Australia at the moment I love that you have made this video and that you’ve provided parents with a do it yourself option. Good on you Charlotte you’re a good egg!

I'm 13 weeks into being a first time Mum and we have been using Cheeky Wipes and cloth nappies from the very first day and I second everything you say it's such an easy system! Do you find making up a weeks worth ok - in terms of the wipes going musty or smelling of damp? I see a lot of other people saying they only make 2 days worth for this reason - but I love the idea of only doing it once a week.
I have also ordered two fresh boxes as plan to have one upstairs and one downstairs and trying to work out how to keep them fresh?

These can be homemade for minimal cost , no need to be spending all of that money. and I don't like the idea of a company who promote environmentally sustainable product sell as part of their kit. 2 BIG PLASTIC BOXES! you can get the mesh supermarket bags to put soiled items in and then wash , and for the wipes just use old towels you have yourself !! and you don't even need nappy san! tee tree in the washing. Teatree is a natural antibacterial oil.
