Do yourself a favour! When leaving the gap…. Sew in from the raw edge, backstitching to lock, then turn and stitch to the corner, turn corner, turn, corner, turn, corner, turn, go to gap opening, turn to ward raw edge, stitch to the edge, backstitch to lock. By doing this…. When you turn it out, it will keep that quarter inch seam allowance turned in and not be awkward! ❤😊
Love this crafting on a budget......no hard sell on expensive products that we don't need when n. there so many things we already have at home. Well done Christine
Nicely done! A wonderful way to use up bits of fabric & toweling. It's one of my goals as a sewist - minimal waste. Eco-friendly to boot. Thoroughly enjoying how you share your knowledge. Thank you!
@@SHELLYHUNTER-u9x Thatvrather depends on what you use. If you use ordinary towelling and crafting cottons you should be okay. Wash both before you start for the best results. Then, any shrinkage should already have happened. 😀
Thank you, I made some as birthday gifts and I love the packaging idea, finishes off the project so well for presentation. Please can you share what font the packaging script is? Thank you.
Hi, you can get the labels for free from my website at christines-crafts.com/super-easy-to-make-zero-waste-makeup-remover-pads/ and the font I used was Lucida Calligraphy in Word. So glad you enjoyed making these. 😀

Thank you so much. Your wonderful feedback encourages me to keep going. I agree about minimising waste - every bit helps. 😃
Hi. Brilliant video, what a great idea. Will definitely be doing this. Thank you for sharing
Glad it was helpful! Good luck making yours.
Think a small mesh to collect the used ones would be good gift presentation, then they'd be ready for washing.
Fabulous idea - stop them getting lost in the washing machine! 😀
Another wonderful video ! You truly are a breath of fresh air with your great ways of making such useful projects out of nothing. Thank you so much. 🌸
Thanks so much 😊 I am glad that you are enjoying them.
Thank you for this tutorial and for the link to the labels, much appreciated 😊👍

Thank you so much! I’m looking forward to making more of these.
Could you use microfibre cloths instead of towelling?
I am sure you could try it. Perhaps try using a microfibre cloth on your face first and if you are happy with it how it performs then use them. 😀
👏👏👏❤❤❤❤
