I personally cut an unwearable T-shirt into squares (so it doesn’t have any scraps) and I’ll use a few layer of the fabric. If I’m feeling really wild I’ll use old towel :)

I use double sided cotton flannel 6.6oz. It’s so soft.

Thank you for your excellent tutorial, I'm looking to make soft reusable makeup pads and will take your advice and use the bamboo fabric. Most helpful. X

Hi! Thank you for this tutorial! I've purchased an overlock machine, but later i found out that on this machine it's recommended not to turn off the knives. Do you know how to finish sewing the circle in such case?

Lovely tutorial. I just bought my overlocking machine. And I don't know have any idea how to adjust my tension. May I know what tensions set for your Pads? Thank you.

Michelle Traynor hi, tensions are different for each machine, mine are usually around the 4/5 mark

A lot of wasted material. The circular shape does not offer any advantage than a square. And squares are easier to sew

I agree but if you do square you want to round the edges. I like circles because they curve around the face more and don’t roar poking you in the eye or something
