- This is the 2nd part of the journey down Towards The Black Forest From Near Saarbrucken on the DL650 Vstrom.
She is 18 years old now and still going strong.
I had done mainly back roads and these were great, interspersed with colourful villages, it was a lovely area.
There is some Autobahn footage at the end but i didnt include it all, just to give you a taste of how well the German road system works.

The DL650 is a perfect bike for these type of adventures! The tiny roads with the trees, bushes, and buildings so close to the road would have the TT boys seeing "racetrack"....
it is :-) still ride it more than anything else, and yes, you could design an amazing track on these roads
It's cool seeing the terrain & greenery b/c they've got different crops waving in the breeze. And I found the back-roads
more tranquil that the big bad autobahn. I'd get myself dead on that highway. thanks for the video

Is the weather not good there then? being honest, we have just been booking as we go because we were late off and im not here just to do the miles Lol. where are you?
@@barebonesmc I am south of Vienna. We had some heavy rain and flooding but it seems it’s over now.
I would recommend typing Mariazell in your satnav. Picturesque Austria. Going south from there through Styria to Kärnten. I would take small roads everywhere I can.

I spent almost 6 years in Germany and would have loved to had a bike. Americans couldn't when I was their!
