I followed high level harmony classes in the conservatory where I studied, but I was stuck trying to write a second voice on a pop song I'm producing, and found your video. The part about repeating melodies and pedal 2nd voice and 3rd based on the second saved me, twas exactly what I needed (I struggled writing the 2nd voice, I ended up with something that's now my 3rd voice, but without that intermediate pedal, it sounded harsh and flawed, but you helped me fix it). I will show your vids to some of my students, that's some high quality content !

This whole channel deserves so many more views and subscribers. Saher does an AMAZING job not only explaining what's going on, but articulating the impact one note can have in relation to another and ultimately what emotion that creates. I freaking love music.

You are a seemingly bottomless well of knowledge. You explain the material in a matter of fact confident manner
but without the entertainment aspect which plagues several others that I have watched. I graduated from a University in the late 1960's with a degree in theory and composition without having any of the digital devices available to musicians these days ... so sad. Also I wish I had professors who were more like you.

How about just the lead vocal standing out as single voice as it's own entity and creating better singers instead of sounding like boys to men in every song. Lush is great word, if one can zoom in on the layers drapes in the vocals it self. I only see this art in Bollywood Indian music with greater lush vocal. This technique is seriously over played and over done. Especially if it's musical ideas which means to be unique not integrating always. As to your instructional technique, first class, A++
