@Oversampled It’s been couple of years, any new creative ways you learned overtime for creating harmonies with 1 vocal? Or did you keep the same method?
Brother vocal harmony is not pitch shifting , vocal harmony is a vocal chord ..if your song is in F major and the portion of the song you gonna make the harmony is on the F major chord that is F A C...the 1st vocal take should be sung in F note , then A and then C..then all the three to be combined together with the lead vocal to give that F A C chord effect...
Dude! Wow what a sweet effect! TYVM for sharing this brother! IMHO YOUR method sounds way better than using the Nector or other plugins. MUCH punchier to my ears. Kudos!
How are you sending ch 13 MIDI to audio channel 12?? I have no option to do that in my MIDI drop down menu. I can only route MIDI to other MIDI receiving channels or devices.
Here is Rachel singing multiphonics without any effects. She perhaps is the only singer who can sing and speak in a multiphonic voice. ruclips.net/user/shortsw2OWZCAFU7I
i like the part when she says my head sayin no my body sayin yes
Lol 😂
🤣
Fuck the first part. I like the "my body sayin yes" part❗
Perv😑
😂😂😂😂
I literally said WTF out loud after i heard the harmony versus the single vocal
really great stuff dude, needed this for my own vocals
Great method just in time when i needed it
5:31 killed me😂
this is so helpful for my harmony singing songs!!
Bruh when he used the MIDI, the vocals literally sounds like being strangled
Great video! I'm using a differnt DAW , but I am still gonna try and use this! Thank you
There's a way easier way to do the first part. Just setup an auto double tracker using a delay vst
Basically layer her vocals a bunch of time's and give each layer an effect.
he isnt really giving each layer an effect, he manipulates the pitch in each layer (and delays them to reduce phasing issues)
Thanks for the inspiration xD
Useful tutorial

.....My head's saying no, my ears are also saying no!
4:38 Why not try "Pitch proof" vst plugin to create harmony, its a free plugin with amazing results !
Nectar 2 and 3 are beasts.
Was literally searching for this rn...good one!
Yeah me too...

It all depends on what you want to sound like. Some music styles prefer the pitch shifted effect
Yes but in this case he doesn’t have the singer in the room to be able to record more takes, so he uses pitch shifting to create harmonies
See 4:12
Very very great. Definitely gonna use that one way or the other! Thanks!
exactlyyyyy what i needed. thank you
the subtle reaction you had at 5:32 killed me 😂😂
Harmonizes stuff hahaha so knowledgeable hehe

Bro I needed this, currently working on a track. Do you have a discord server or would you ever do a subscriber listen sesh?
Hey there! So at 2:34 I dont think I have those same options anymore. Any clue how to get to 'Detune' function now in the latest updated Ableton
Under Pitch you have two zeros, the one on the left is semitones, the one on the right is cents a.k.a "detune" - that's it!
@@Oversampled thanks so much!
The melody reminds me of a late 90's vocal

Just remove all effects from the track (and maybe also instruments) and then try again

Flanger Effect. when two vocals are lined up and are extremely similar, this happens. that’s why he delays them
Dropping sauce🔥🔥

This is so good! Let me try some of this
