If you have any eye for color and you want to escape from life for a while. Look into pour painting. I am mourning my wife and felt like I was in a black whole but I found this art form and it is very relaxing and peaceful. Enjoy your life like you own the world and create, create, create. It's bliss.
Love to see more of pipper he or she is cute❤❤❤❤❤
Love the color combo!! Happy, feel-good colors!! Just absolutely beautiful!!
you have come along ways. I remember when you first started. I like your little kittens too.
I love this. It is definitely one of my favorites that I've seen in a while!!! I love the explosion look!
Oh man the lacing when you initial flipped the cup. I love it. Don't you wish there was a way to save the initial pour sometimes?
I really do! Only thing I could do is use a corner keeper but the cells continue to do thier thing lol!
J. , I have watched hundreds and hundreds of videos of fluid art and have been painting with this method for 3 years now. You are the first person that covers their turn table like I do with foil. I am OCD when it comes to keeping everything clean. It's good to see someone finally using foil to keep their turn table clean, too!!! ❤😄LOL!
I'm going to use foil too!!💜
Hands down my favorite flip cup you've ever done. The gradiance of color and cells are mesmerizing. I could look at this painting for hours.
Simply stunning. I just don't know how you do it so consistently. Painting after painting, your work is mesmerizing. Thank you for sharing! 😊
Thank you so much! You should see the boxes of paintings that went terribly when I started. Once I started to trust the color wheel when choosing colors things got a lot easier.
Amazing as always! I would love to see you add glitter to the different paints as you add the paints into the cup before you flip the cup onto the canvas.
Great idea I will have to try that out! Thank you so much!
Perfect video to finish a lunch break, nice and relaxing and beautiful
Glad you enjoyed it
Wow! I LOVE THAT PAINTING
Thank you so much!
I love the color combinations you used. The cell action is amazing!
Wo! This is fantastic. I Love 💕 the colors. My. Cat's. Great job, can't wait to try this!!
I love your channel! you get right to the point, which is doing a painting instead of lots of talking about yad yad yad.. and you are so creative, and i just love your channel

Good morning Tegan, it makes me happy that you can watch these videos and get some calm when the days are tough. I appreciate you being on this journey with me!
Your visual of Floetrol to paint is so clear and helpful. This is always a tough concept to understand.
Thank you, I use it because I needed it when I started. I never could understand the 1 part this and 2 parts that thing. I need crayons sometimes HAHA!
Magnificent! I can't wait to try this for my granddaughter's new room 🌺
That sounds like a great time! I’m sure she will love it!!
This is sooo beautiful, the colors complement each other so well. 💜💖💜

Love all your beautiful work!❤

This is gorgeous!! I think it would really pop with a lay of silver or gold depending on your preference or some fine glitter added to one of your colors...
Beautiful artwork!
It really is stunning Johnny. Awesome job. The flip was like magic🤩 love the results you got.
That is brilliant
I love that colour combination. You have used 2 of my favourite colours.

WOW, love the colors!! Incredible cells!! Thanks again for sharing!? Have a fantastic day!! 😊
Thanks so much 😊 I hope you have a great day as well!
That’s cool!!! The lines made huge difference. I saw a dragon in flight. I hope it dried the same. I love that you’re using Penetrol. I have been using it for my swipes. & it is awesome. No buying Aussie Floetrol!!
Fabulous ❤
Thank you so much!
Thank you 🙏🌿😊
So nice of you
I was oooohing and ahhhing the whole way through, beautiful :)
Wow, thank you!
Thank you so much. I use pour art when I get writers block to help me relax and think. And YAZ my cells have been meh, I'll have to try to thin it!!!
😍
Thank you so much!
Love this. Have you ever spun the art while you lift it up?
I love it! I see faces! Well until you spun it!
This looks again amazing 😍
Greetings from Luxembourg, Europe 🤗
That is a new way to use penetrol I haven't seen before. Awesome!
First I have heard of using penetrol too! To me this would be a great alternative to the Australian floetrol cause it is so extensive for me $60. But I resin all my work and am waiting for him to respond if it reacts to resin.
@@christiecarlsen6486 It doesn't affect resin in the quantities I use it (drop or two per ounce of paint).
Thank you so much! Yeah it’s a really interesting compound for pour artists!
I haven’t used it with resin yet, I have varnished several paintings and had no dimpling or rejection and didn’t clean the surface at all. I imagine resin would work the same. I will have to resin one and let you know
I appreciate you speaking from experience with resin and penetrol. I haven’t done a resin piece with it yet so your feedback is valuable my friend!
Wow just discovered your page. I'm so in love with this pic. I was feeling really uninspired by everything but this one did it for me. Definitely gona start making something like this. Is the flotrol what creates the cells?
US floetrol helps set the stage for cell creation but the penetrol was what made all the lacing and cells pop
Hey there! Love watching you paint and the growth you’ve had! Do you think it’s that one drop a pin a troll? Those cells are really amazing. Does it clean OK? I hate cleaning silicone. I just refuse to use it if I’m going to Resin and most of my customers want the resin top!
Beautiful color combo! I just signed up for the FAB and was happy to see you are a guest artist. Looking forward to taking one of your classes ☮️💙
Thank you so much! I can't wait to paint with you Debbie! I really look forward getting to know you guys!!
What's the Fab...im interested

@@debbikaplan1255 ill be going to New Mexico this summer...ill be checking for upcoming events there
Thank you
www.fluidartboutique.com I hope you can make it! It’s going to be a blast!!
That's interesting. I though that the paints needed to be a bit thicker for the cells to hold there shape. (I heard that somewhere) I guess I need to do some more experiments. It's been hot and humid hear lately.
Some people have good luck with thicker paints too. Whenever my paints are too thick the cells don’t form for me or if they do they are lackluster. I hope you have a great rest of your weekend
@@JMoPainting Thank you. You too 😃
I bought some penateol. And i am in love with it.
What is penetrol ? And where do you get it ?
Its by the floetrol in home improvement stores like lowes and home depot
@@JMoPainting Yes . I found it and can't wait to try it ! Thank you so much !
I bought some too! Can't wait to try it! Hoping it takes resin ok!
Really beautiful! What do you use to spin the painting? 🤔
When it dried, were the cells underneath the brilliant purple still visible? If so, did they become more or less visible?
Fabulous! What style spinner do u use? It looks like it's on a pedestal?
My issues with cells I think is that I stir it in to much instead of just a quick swirl. What do you think?? Beautiful ❤️ as usual. Love your channel.
Its possible, but if you overmixed the silicone it would give you a bunch of little cells because the cells would still develop. Thank you so much Diane
Yes Diane! I never had beautiful big cells until I watched a video showing the difference between a quick stir after adding silicone and stirring a lot after adding it. A lot of stirring creates a ton of tiny cells which I do not find as attractive as the big cells.
I love this one 💖
Will you be posting the dry results?
I'm thinking of doing this technique with pink and blues
I will be posting the dry results in my next video, I got a little behind due to the dang Flu! But I’ll show it dry in my next open cup video using the same colors!
@@JMoPaintingmy
Hello J MO! I was wondering if you can resin over the Paintings that you use the Flood Penatrol in? I want to try the penatrol but only if u can resin over it.
Is the Flood Penetrol like adding treadmill oil to create cells? I quit using any oils a few years ago and went to Australian Floetrol. This way, you don't have to clean your canvases or tiles to remove any existing oil on the surface before covering with epoxy. I'm just checking in case this is a new product in the States that would allow cells without having to purchase Australian Floetrol. Thanks in advance for your insight!!!❤❤❤
Wanda I am wandering the same!!!
It is like adding silicone, although I have varnished several dried works without cleaning them and they did not dimple or reject at all. I haven’t tried with resin yet but I imagine it would be the same deal there as well
What's the difference with flotrol and penatrol?
If I were to add wood conditioner instead of penetrol would that work as well to create the cells?
why did you use 1 drop of penetrol ? Just learning about it
Sei bravissimo. Scusa nn capisco bene tutto. Posso sapere se hai usato l olio di silicone ? Posso chiedere cosa è che fa venire le celle?🙏❤️ grazie. Sei bravissimo
I'm really bad a gauging canvas sizes. I may have missed it in the video, but what's the canvas size for this piece?
It’s a 12 by 12. I think I forgot to mention it Ron.
@@JMoPainting Thank you! Much appreciated.
Do you use US or Aussie floetrol with the penetrol?
US floetrol and penetrol
Hello again, Johnny. I went on the HOME DEPOT site a bit ago. Did you know they are now catering to the Flippers, Pourers, Blowers, and Swipers etc, among us. It's in the paint (duh) section but at the end of that??? Well they are also selling the art of said artists. $400.00+ Thought you and the rest would get a kick out of that.
Hi from Belgium. Can you write the component because I didn't understand. The penetrol in which color? Thanks. It's really beautiful. I love the colours you used. There are mine too 🤩😀
I used Penetrol, and I mixed it with all the colors except the first white base coat. I hope htat helps you. Thank you so much!
@@JMoPainting thanks
I’m wondering where you got the pedestal turn table that you use.
Did you find out? 😂
Favor traduzir para o português do Brasil
what do you do with your excess paint from these pours
I make jewelry from the skins like in this video - ruclips.net/video/lNniWQLz-6U/видео.html
@@JMoPainting awesome
Please tell me if u have a recent video on what you use for pillow paint
I only use a pillow if I am doing blooms, this one I used a base coat. It was mixed the same ratio as the colors with silicone in them. 2 parts pouring medium to 1 part paint. I used artists loft pouring medium in this one
I am new viewer from Australia. Would you mind to let me know what is penetrol?
What is the did between flotrol and penetrol?
Floetrol is the medium and penetrol is the additive similar to silicone that creates a different kind of cells
So you used Floetrol & a drop of Penetrol, but you said the heat helps the silicone make cells. Newbie here & that confused me.
I started to get sad seeing the area with the pink and white with the darkest purple in the center get flung off the canvas using the Lazy Susan
Bonjour a tous je ne sais toujours pas si vous utilser de l'huile de silicone svp.merci de votre réponse.
This was penetrol instead of silicone. I know I said use the heat gun to make the silicone react during the video. That was out of habit. This was only one drop of penetrol
@@JMoPainting merci si jai bien compris votre réponse est:.oui utilisation de silicone.
What is Penetrol? Never heard of it- is there an equivalent?
Penetrol is in hardware stores by the floetrol. Same brand makes it too (flood) I have found it to be comparable to silicone and it doesn’t require cleaning prior to varnish and I love that!
@@JMoPainting the Penetrol sounds like a great alternative to silicone- love the idea of not having to worry about cleaning off silicon before varnish or resin. Thanks for sharing this.
Barbie and Ken need that for their dream house!
