Lovely hearing this, we always need more artists in the world 🥰 I paint and draw but I'm only just getting into acrylic pouring and I'm so excited to make a start and see the outcome ^_^
People are often very critical and have no idea what art really is. I’m a fine arts major and I always used to think stuff like this was dumb and didn’t take any skill. I just started and it definitely takes skill, patience, and discipline. Understanding color theory, mediums, composition, and a little chemistry definitely places this in the art category. I appreciate your videos
the title of your painting! the colors!! the music background with the birds and the Crickets !the cells! and you!!!! love love love and more !thank you :)
Hey Johnny, as I was watching you do the yellow and green open pour, I had an idea! Since you were spinning the spinner, the paint that was flowing onto the spinner was actually very nice. I was thinking it might be cool to remove your finished piece and tilt the spinner and use the left over paint to go a dip with the leftovers. I love the cells you are generating and I think it would be assume to tilt the spinner and try to get the top covered again, even if you use the excess paint that is on the top and base of the spinner. Once covered, just do a dip of another canvas and see if you can do an awesome transfer of the excess paint. I like the dip transfers that Gillie Kube does in Australia. And I think you should be able to do one dip of your spinner. Who knows if I am right, but it makes sense that it should work. Please let me know if you try and video it, so I can see your success with it. I have the ability to makes tons of cells, but I do not have luck with your big lace work! Not trying to be bossy, just thought you might be successful when I am not! Thanks, Pat
Hi Mr. J Mo. This is first time watching you paint. I’ve been painting about a year and I’m totally addicted to this. Lol!! Have given several of my pours away. Everyone love’s them. You’ve really inspired me to keep it up. Got a little discouraged but after watching you and hearing your testimony I know this is what I want to do. I’m a funeral director and my job can get pretty stressful. Paint pouring is so rewarding and a great release for me. Thanks J Mo and thank you for your service to this country. You are appreciated. God bless. Lee of Rome, Ga.
Hi J MO. It's the OBX lady here. One of the comments thanked you for your service. Let me ditto that. For a vet friend of mine I got a t-shirt that said Home of the Free, Because of the Brave. I think it suits you. I loved this painting. To me it looked 3D and at one point looked like the middle was the deep of a green volcano. Thank you again. While watching this I have 3 infected teeth throbbing away. Your painting helped me endure. You are a wonder!
I live in North Carolina as well!!! New to this form of art, well any art, but I love it so much, been at it a few months and I'm getting discouraged, I just found your channel and we'll I'm not so discouraged now. Just the way you explained things and reading some comments, I'm gonna keep at it.
I like the way you talk to your audience as you work. The colors I would like to see together are magenta, mauve, and different blues. Maybe add a bit of sparkle with different golds. I like your art work. Thanks for your explanations.
This has been a fun Saturday for me! Watching you is a blast! You try colors that I would never try together. I’m getting braver because of you. Thank you.
Thank you so much. Only recently started this kind of acrylic painting and could not get lacing or cells. Cant wait for tomorrow and give it a try. Wish me luck. Thank you. Nina from Jersey C.I.

Is there an image anywhere of the dried result? I am curious as to how the dragonfly glaze dried. These are such beautiful greens, I hope they retained their vibrancy in the dried result. Do you coat with resin or some other type of protective coat? I am enjoying your channel very much- your explanations are so calm and useful!
I love watching you do your art and how you share tips and do your best to bring joy and beauty into the world. Thank you for sharing your art and vision with us! I have a suggestion for a paint mix... no idea if it would turn out good but here we go: Americana Decor Metallic - Obsidian, Dioxazine Purple, Galaxy Glitter - Purple Eclipse, Reds, Yellows Thanks again!
Can you open pour. Navy blue, white, gold on whatever background you think is right. 😁 Thank you. Love your video’s. I binge watched your whole video series. Your the best!
Loving the 3D effects. Your color pallets are mine too. Sometimes I try throwing in a metallic like gold or bronze in a small amount to see what happens.
I am obsessed with cells! Not many of the artists I’ve watched are. Your works are amazing. I’ve yet to perfect the large cells, but having fun until I do.
