I hope you get this, you helped me get out of a dark place October of 2020. My husband of 34 years died of dementia then 11 days later my best friend of 25 years died of covid. At 71, widowed for the third time, having lost 4 children, I was lost and had the same thoughts you did. I started watching the same people you did and you and this style of painting is now my obsession. From the bottom of my heart thank you for saving me by talking to me when I was so very lonely. You are one of my heroes! Your wonderful art work is a great inspiration too, bonus!

Thank you for your service, I know how wars impact our military, not just physically, but mentally. My brother was in the Marine Corps and was deployed to Vietnam. Thank God, he made it home, but he was never the same. He rarely talked about all that happened there because it was so painful. The few things he did share were horrific, and I can't imagine all the other things he didn't talk about. He tried his best to go on with life and be as normal as possible. He also went through divorce, unlike so many other veterans. He's since died, back in 2016. He's in Heaven now where there is no more pain or suffering or death.
Thank you never seems enough for our military and veterans. Prayers for each and everyone of you. It breaks my heart thinking of all you've been through and the sacrifices each and every one of you have made. God bless you all💕💕

It is very therapeutic I feel. I have CPTSD and it has helped me survive a dark place as well. I can relate so much. There is a purpose for all the suffering we have seen, lived, survived. It's a testimony to others, God bless my friend. I will subscribe today I would love to hear more of your testimony on your healing journey. God bless

Thank you for telling part of your story. I have a diploma in Graphic Design and I have drawn and painted since a toddler. I topped art all the way through school and college, and went on to use my skills to varying degrees throughout my life to date. To say I was a perfectionist is an understatement. I am also a self-taught photographer. On the 30th of March, 2021, I confronted a neighbour who was playing death metal music so loud it shook our house. It was 9.30pm. While the female distracted me, the male partner snuck up in the shadows and king hit me. Obliterated my face (surgeons report states) and they performed a massive operation to piece together my skull. Why whole right eye socket was shattered, dislocated jaw, broken nose and my cheekbone was pushed in 2.4cm. The doctors said it looked like I survived a serious car crash. I was just a mess - physically and emotionally. A result of the assault is a blow pupil, double vision, and light sensitivity. Just recently I became interested in this art form. My hope was back. All my art gear could be put to use in a very relaxing and peaceful way. I'm finding it so therapeutic. So please know how much you and your work is appreciated.

Thank you so so so so much for trying this now… My next request is that you either do the same thing and incorporate red into the pour or you have red as the main colour and pour the black white and gray for the cell action .
John I wish there was a way that we could paint together… Maybe if I get a tripod and we set up a time maybe we could paint together…?!?? You’re a wonderful human being, your compassionate your caring and I really appreciate your openness and willingness to help all of us. thank you for allowing us into your studio.

It’s so great that you acknowledged the artists who inspired you snd started you off on your own painting/healing journey. You mention many of the same artists who did the same for me. I’m sure they had little idea of the impact they would have when they were filming their own paint pouring adventures in their kitchens, basements, laundry’s and other ‘make - do’ studios. I’m so grateful for them all and would add Karen of Waterfall Acrylics to my list. I loved Julie Cutts of Pouring Your Heart Out because she’s Australian as am I. I’ve also got to acknowledge Rinske Douna, Mely D and Sheleeart of Sheleeart for being game changers and bringing their own experimentations and techniques to the ‘pouring table’ :) So grateful to this generous & fun pouring community :)

We have a lot in common. I always loved art & was good at it - painting, drawing, etc. i had my son in 2002 & had to put things aside to raise him alone with help from my parents. I lost mom & dad in July of 2019 within 12 days of each other & had a massive breakdown as like you I suffered many moments and of course ptsd as I seen things no one should see. It was finding art in myself again by doing paint pouring that pulled me out of the darkest time in my life and the artists you mentioned and others helped. They need to be recognized for that as well and not just their art & like you, if I can help others I will. I never want anyone to feel what I felt. God bless you ❤️🙏🏻

I discovered acrylic pouring while recovering from my divorce earlier this year. Been doing this for about four months now & it's such an amazing outlet mentally and emotionally. I found your channel just recently, and just came to this vid today. I had already picked up little hints of your backstory from some other vids, but this one confirmed a few things I had already begun to suspect. For whatever it's worth, I'm a VA social worker, and I've worked with quite a few vets who hadn't found the means to stop the downward spiral. I've how dark that place can be. I find the fact that you've met that challenge and found passion and purpose even more inpiring than your artwork; and your art is amazing. Keep doing what you're doing, brother!

But thanks to prayer and medication I survive in the best life I can. Many years ago my first husband committed suicide. It is the act that keeps on giving. My daughters were 5 and 6. It was a terrible time in my life and my children's life. The sharp edges of pain have smoothed out but it never really goes away. You are a special person. You share your life so generously. I get it, I’ve painting most of my life but started acrylic pouring 3 years ago. I love painting on a bad pain day for diversion. I’ve had over 130 surgeries, can’t eat, haven’t eaten a meal in 5 years after losing both my large bowel to Ulcerative Colitis then 20 foot of my small bowel to Crohn’s. I’m on a drip for up to 6 hours lying down x 3 times a week. On life support 7 years ago. I’m still here for a reason. Ridiculous regime of drugs. If I can produce something lovely on a bad day, it’s worth it. I had my first exhibition in Tasmania, Australia, in May and sold 18 paintings!!! I’d have been thrilled with 3. I totally get where you’re coming from. Well done you! Love what you’ve produced!

Your painting turned out to be awesome! I am glad painting has become your salvage. They don't call it art therapy for nothing. Personally I have been helped by pouring so much. I've been laid up with a bad back/sciatica and have not been able to paint for almost 2 weeks but thanks to videos like yours I can live vicariously through all the wonderful artists like you. Keep up the awesome work. Have a great holiday weekend. A request for greens and purples please, my favourites. 💖

Thank for your military service and thank you for your art♥️ I had such a trial of a week, it blew my mind and, nearly, broke my spirit. I always look for your new videos, as soon as I open RUclips but, tonight, you did more than inspire me, artistically. You touched my heart and reminded me that, though we are challenged, if we push on in faith, we will find the beauty in Life, again. ♥️
And, once again, you've proven yourself to be the Cell Master! Absolutely gorgeous piece. Thank you.

I know I'm not the 1st to say this but you and I have nearly the EXACT same story. The only difference is it wasn't Olga nor Rinske nor Molly nor any of the other most popular pros who got me started over a year ago. It was YOU! Thank you! 💜
You wouldn't BELIEVE how much has changed in my life since and obviously for the better. Soooo much is different now, including the fact that every inch of my wall space has some sort of pour painting by yours truly. I'm getting around to selling and I plan to do so just before I make the literal, physical transition I've awaited for SO, SO long! I'm gonna have to!!!! I can't move with 100s of paintings, all various sizes & shapes & styles! New neighbors would think I'm the koo-koo lady moving next door with a Senior pit bull and 2000 pieces of wall art! 🤣
    Blessed Be Johnny.

J Mo, thank you for sharing your past and present. I have such a heart for all military (in any country), especially in war situations and find I can't stop praying for you all. When I hear of another suicide my heartbreak is enormous. I come from Rhodesia and we saw our fair share of atrocities. Your courage in sharing a bit of your story is so appreciated. I have learnt that grief and sorrow and torment have many faces. In my own life of pain my one and only help at all times has been my God. Thank you again and keep on keeping on.

My daughter got me interested in pour painting this past year shortly after we lost my youngest son(her younger brother)Anthony. He was diagnosed with colon cancer early 2019(February 5th to be exact)& after a really hard year and 4 months of suffering and fighting he past away just 5 days after his 30th birthday on June 5th, 2020. Pour painting and watching videos on techniques and how to do them from some of y'all here on RUclips has really been a blessing and a huge part in my healing...so I just want to say a GREAT BIG THANK YOU and my the Lord bless you and yours❤💜💙

I've only been pouring for a few months now and love the calming enjoyment it brings. I'd be wrong to not make mention of the fact Jesus has brought me out of the darkest of times. I am going on 70 and have been experiencing a lot of depression since my mom passed 2 years ago. I had ever been without my best friend and pretty much just withdrew from everyone and everything. Then I ran across paint pouring videos since that day I've been engrossed in painting. In 3 months I have painted over 250 paintings, and I just get so much enjoyment from it I can't stop. Hello. I like what you do. I'm a vet (AF) and I did 20 years. No wars. I started pouring after my husband showed me, his pours and I set a studio in our crowded garage. He died two years ago, from congested heart failure. We were married for 43 years. I have sent some of my paintings to family, friends, and used some for last year's Christmas cards. My cousin was encouraging me to sell my art. I haven't decided yet. Pouring is one of the many things I do. Keep pouring.
