Thank you Tina, a couple months back I published my story in a little more detail. A lot of y’all asked me to share it when I was ready and this is that video - ruclips.net/video/yHxsaEuMHJI/видео.html
I’m terminally ill. I’ve always designed jewelry with my identical twin sister, but I’m getting into pouring relatively late. But I want to spend my days doing things that bring me joy, but on SSDI my budget is next to zero, my new joy is so expensive! When you introduce ways to make it truly affordable, I’m so grateful because it may allow me to finance another day!! I’m so inspired by you. My life hasn’t been easy, but it’s sure shaping up to be a GREAT JOURNEY! 💕💕💕
I am 72 and ill with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. I have been a bit down and your videos make me happy. I am pouring and having a great time with it. Thank you
I hope, without sounding like creepy old woman, you make my life better everyday. Your caring for others is inspirational. (Ok...I am a creepy old lady)🤪
I’ve been trying to get cells in my pours for 3 years. I’ve ask several pout artists for help and received nothing unless I wanted to pay for there recipe. You offer help and solutions so I thank you for not being selfish and sharing your experience. You do beautiful work.
This turned out awesome. I did one of my first pours about 6 years ago with dish soap and that’s when I fell in love with pouring. I’m now venturing into epoxy pours and making epoxy outdoor side tables and wall art. Art is definitely addictive 😂
I am new to this paint pour a beginner and I am in awe of the beautiful results that are gotten. As a professional painter by trade, I have a new found love of paint and now that I have the time to do this I am looking forward to starting projects. When I feel that I have produced something worthy of showing I would like to share it with you
Love the unique results you can show us who are unpainted and terrified. Knowing that it is okay to make mistakes is very liberating. Thank you for the opportunity of joy!!
I think it’s important to see mistakes. I don’t think there’s a such thing as a perfect pour. It helps to see mistakes made by others so you don’t end up playing repeat. The same artists you started out watching, were just about the same as mine for the same reasons-ish. You are an amazing artist and have inspired my art a bunch of times. Thank you for being you.
I'm always watching Olga &Molly's Pours, the always look so wonderful, they make it look SO0 easy, just finally learning how to do cells.. I'm going to try dawn with my next pour... 😎👍 Thx again...
Soap is a surfactant to water and water based paint. Amsterdam has more surfactant than most artist paints and that is why it works so well with Australian Floetrol and Bloom technique. The blue can really foam when water is used for thinning. Do you remember in school how water has surface tension due to electron covalent bonding? Break that, and you get more cells and less divots on the painting. Nice work!
I think that a great deal of this kind of art actually replicates many a different type of galaxy in outer space! Many of the modern day artists who have been working with these styles have been able to create their work in this manner and the paintings themselves turn out very nicely and awesome to look at! ❤❤❤❤❤
My dear J Mo , I am so glad you made this video using the Dawn dish soap , thanks for all your tricks especially for me I do have sensitivity to strong smells , since I haven't yet tried to pour any acrylic paints I have no idea how they smell ??? You rock my new teacher I appreciate you very much , you are so easy to listen to and following your step by step instructions makes it even easier for me to follow along due to my Fibromyalgia condition my brain gets foggy and have a hard time concentrating and remembering , I am seventy three years young haha ... making art is my only escape and brain food . blessings to you and your family . From St.Catharines , Ontario , Canada . Winter is here what a better way to spend my time by watching you and learning how to pour paint art .Thanks a million
That is the best paint pouring painting I've ever seen, and I've been watching a lot of videos and seeing a lot of pours from hundreds of people that painting is amazing dude those color combinations are top tier chefs kiss to the painting magnifico, so 🤩
I never heard any artist mention cleaning off silicone. Thank you for that info. Who would have thought to use dish soap to activate cells. I don't know how you ever thought of using soap. Lol. I have to say though, wow, it paid off. I love this, the colors, design and cells. I was surprised the soap didn't affect anything in a negative way. I love the result. Thank you for the free E-book. That was a very nice thing to do.
Hi I’m Ginger and I’m a beginner but enjoy learning from others like your videos help me so much because of the way you explain things so clearly thank you . I have some questions to ask you .
Thanks. I've played around with different common household stuff. Not everyone has alot of extra money. I want everyone to play. I've used a drop of essential oil. Not chemical real oil. And it worked great. But very small cells. Also I've tried putting the oil mix right on the canvas. That worked. But it was an experiment. Thanks again. Love your adventures.
You know, just watching your videos makes me want to try to do this even though I’ve got only one hand and arm to use! The colors I’d like to try together are like the cirilian light baby blue you use with like a silver metallic, or a green with metallic gold in the green, both I think would just be cool, I think, now it’s your turn!!
I tried "tire wet" and it works pretty well too. Ended up using that because I always paint in the middle of the night and couldn't get any silicone from the hobby store, but remembered tire wet spray has silicone in it lol. Whatever works!😁
Thanks AGAIN, Johnny! Kanella Ciraco did a video in the last week or so. Seems that Artist Loft white changed its formula. She's written to Michaels and they seem to be taking her comments seriously. One more voice couldn't hurt...?
Lovely result especially with the finishing spray which turned the colours so vibrant! I was hesitant when you started applying the complementary colours, but the mud they created combined beautifully with the clear orange and blues. You explain very well the step-by-step and also cover other important aspects such as the risk of mixing complementary colours. I appreciate your courage to attempt something on video and sharing it, knowing there’s a risk of failure. And that aspect is important so that we can all learn (you included)! Your message re life aspects is very nice! It’s very kind of you to share your knowledge and experience, and to provide links for downloading precious material! Thank you!
Wow, this is 2yr old but my first watch. I am really inspired! I hope i can gi d more videos with you usong the soap, I would love yo see more on how it behaves! Also now I really want to try it too. 😊
I love 💕 this technique and I’ll try it! Thanks so much for showing it! One thing you may want to consider mentioning is to wipe the painting with a microfiber cloth prior to spraying or putting on resin in order to get dust, pollen, skin cells, hair, fur etc. off the surface.
Wowzers, that is awsome, I have been trying so0 long, so0 hard to try 2 make cells, I've tried canola oil.... but yes... Dawn, thank you , thank you THANK YOU.. 🎨 😎👍
Hey Jo mo mo, I watch you as much as I can, I'm 80yrs and still clicking my heels, I have started paint pouring, did a few ring pours, blowing out, not my fave with dryer, so I use a straw, works well for me..going to try the dish soap, I have silicone oil...my question is to make the medium, how much glue and how much water..I have many more questions, do that later.
Hi J Mo. I have been doing acrylic painting now for a few months and am not a master but love it. I just got brave and had mica powder delivered, and am ready to go with it. I am excited and found you on how to mix and start with my powder. I am nervous about my first pour. You are so good with explaining how to use your techniques, and this video with the dish soap is awesome, do you think I should use it on my first pour with the mica powder?
Wow that blue veining is awesome...I really like this piece. Not a big fan with cells but this came out so pretty. I love it! I gotta get that soap and spray glaze. Thank you so much for sharing. Your a great teacher!!!!
I have learned to work with my mistakes( making lemonade out of lemons),if something is crazed or raised, I can level it by using a triple thick glaze! The most important thing I have learned is not to be afraid to experiment and to try not to touch a pour before it is surface dry, but if you do, you can work with it! Most of all I have to( try)have patience!
Good day to you! I'm brand new to acrylic pouring painting. Your videos are so helpful, informative and inspirational. Your color filled paintings are beautiful. I would like to know about clean up and how best to discard leftover paint and used paint cups. I have heard that it is not recommended to pour the paint directly down the sink. What do you suggest? Wishing you a great-rest-of-the day!!!
thank you for all your awesome information I finally took the dive and I've been doing the poor painting on my floor tiles that a money using my gypsy wagon thank you so much they turned out really nice!
Thank you..I did a kiss pour for the first time today. Hahahaha, the canvas has been cleaned and is drying to try again, so much more to pay attention to. You work is wonderful ty again
That is Cool 😎 Thank you for being inspiring to others also🙂 It doesn't matter our age, I believe we learn from each other. I have learnt a lot from my kids. To inspire others is a gift and it makes you feel good as well as others also feel good. We all need each other. If only everyone had unconditional love. The world would be such a beautiful place. As they say it starts with us. You and your family stay blessed and safe J Mo
Hey bro, just so you know, you've helped me a TON! Thank you for sharing your painting experiences with us, and thank you for also sharing your recipes! I've learned so much from you. I replicated one of your beautiful marble pours, and had a blast doing it 😊. You rock 🤘
Dimethecone, an ingredient in Dawn, original version, is silicone or similar to silicone. Interesting effects with bubbles etc. It's maybe easier to remove/clean off if you're planning to resin. It's archival properties for the piece would be important information for commercial artists.
I have only just seen this video. The paint that flowed over the canvas onto the table had beautiful cells. The canvas looked beautiful too.
Your story of your journey touched my heart
Thank you Tina, a couple months back I published my story in a little more detail. A lot of y’all asked me to share it when I was ready and this is that video - ruclips.net/video/yHxsaEuMHJI/видео.html

❤

I hope, without sounding like creepy old woman, you make my life better everyday. Your caring for others is inspirational. (Ok...I am a creepy old lady)🤪
I fully understand what you're saying & feel the same 😊
Lol I guess I am too!
Hi I have something called magic
cell maker. It didn’t work for me!
Is it the same as silicone?
Novalla, U R Just being Objectively HONEST! & caring & What the world Needs MUCH Much More Of Both Of them
Me too then
I feel like a lot of channels never talk about the drawbacks of cleaning the silicone afterwards so that was a nice touch
I agree. I've never heard another artist mention it, so I didn't even know it was a thing.
How do you clean the silicone off afterwards?
@@NinesCustomWorks2023 He explains it better than I can in one of his videos. Wish I was more helpful
Amazing result with Dawn Dishsoap! Who would have even guessed to do this, but glad you did 👏
J oh yep! we want a solid color theory video!!!
I’ve been trying to get cells in my pours for 3 years. I’ve ask several pout artists for help and received nothing unless I wanted to pay for there recipe. You offer help and solutions so I thank you for not being selfish and sharing your experience. You do beautiful work.
You are welcome Jewell! This artform is open to everyone and I will continue to be transparent with how I get the effects I do
The blue lightning is ahhmazing!!
Look how the Corners mirror each other ! Thanks for showing the pre-varnish cured look.
This turned out awesome. I did one of my first pours about 6 years ago with dish soap and that’s when I fell in love with pouring. I’m now venturing into epoxy pours and making epoxy outdoor side tables and wall art. Art is definitely addictive 😂
I would love to see a color theory video!!
Yes please! Color theory video would be Great!

I like the way you think and the way you educate others on the issues that you face in your daily projects as an abstract artist! ❤❤❤
Love the unique results you can show us who are unpainted and terrified. Knowing that it is okay to make mistakes is very liberating. Thank you for the opportunity of joy!!
I like the complementary colours in this. The painting ended up very earthy, like a flooding lake bed in the red heart of Australia seen from far up.
Thank you for showing us how dishsoap works for cells. I sorta thought saw a bit muddy. Have a blessed day/evening. 😊💗💗💗😉
Great Video and yes please do a color theory video that's one thing I struggle with sometimes
Thank you so much. I'm a beginner I watch a lot of your videos 📹. Keep up the good work.
MelyD used to put diluted dish soap in a spray bottle with water to get additional cells on her paintings... way back in the day. 👍
I think it’s important to see mistakes. I don’t think there’s a such thing as a perfect pour. It helps to see mistakes made by others so you don’t end up playing repeat. I'm always watching
Olga &Molly's
Pours, the always look so wonderful, they make it look SO0 easy, just finally learning how to do cells..
I'm going to try dawn with my next pour...

Love the effects with dish soap instead of silicone! Great work. Thank you, J.

I am impressed. Thank u for showing Cells without silicone. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
That’s awesome J!!
I’m new at learning about pouring acrylics. Then I found you teaching this to your viewers. I’m really enjoying your techniques & positive words👍

I love these experiments.
I like how the dark blue runs through the painting!

I love the final result. Love the design and colors. ❤ dry is gorgeous.
Love it that would be fantastic for kids in elementary school
Very unique. I missed when you added dish soap? Please explain the use of the dish soap. Beautiful piece.
OMG! You are the man! Thank you! I followed your instructions and it actually worked. Keep it simple, that's what I like.
Very interesting! Thanks for the tips, looking forward to more👍 from Canada
Very cool painting! I love that you were able to do that with dish soap.

Great experiment. So with dish soap you don’t have to clean before varnish or resin is that correct?
I love how that came out I love the colors even with the toning down of the color or a little bit of mud it was gorgeous
Thank you so much!

I’m a beginner and I have a question. How do you clean off the silicone once it fully dries?
Hi, thank you so much, I'm new to acrylic pouring and I love it. Your tips help a lot. Thank you :)
The colors are 👍
