Tom would just buy new ones, but Nerb would fix the old ones! Nice one.

Very cool system. I might look at those as my next boots. A few guys I ride with use them and love them too.

I need to do mine now but have lost some screws. Didn't know they were just in the plastic now. Earlier version I had was threaded in. I think you had the flat MX sole and replaced with a Enduro sole. It is heavily lugged as you want traction when you are fighting on steep terrain once you made a mistake. The MX sole wants to slide when you are in ruts so has poor traction. Thanks for posting.

What about smearing some Shoe Goo on the part of the boot that wears?

Not sure why this came up in my feed but i have a pair of crossfire 2 's and pretty much everything is replaceable except were they have broken !!!!
right near the plastic triangle piece on the inner side of the boot, it broke where it join the sole on both boots. Kinda sucks with how much they cost.
Not sure why i'm telling you hahaha

Its good to know their possible flaws. Mine are no longer waterproof (they are 10 years old!) and I was looking at getting a new pair of the same. Do you know if your issue would be different in the newer versions?

I haven't heard of anyone having the same issue, i would love another pair. It looks like the new ones are a fair bit cheaper from overseas. I didn't know they were waterproof!
