    I have the Dual Venture on my 790. Started with 11mm thread depth brand new. Turned it around on 12000 km and it still had 8.8mm left. No punctures whatsoever. Really great front tyre and loving the grip. Definitely agree that they do reach their limit in deep sand, however it is to be expected.

    So nice you didn't even break the spiders web. That's so cool you got to use your drone, and to scare a croc.

    My experiences with the Motoz are different. Excellent on dirt, really good, nothing better, but on the black top, two different bikes suffered from the front and back wobbling at different rates to each other at any speed above 110. Every time we went to overtake a road train it was butt puckering and to be honest, bloody dangerous. Fuel economy took a huge dive too on the tar. Experimented with pressures and load distribution but the two different bikes wallowed and wobbled every time. Marginally better at half wear. But on the dirt, no punctures and great riding. Love buying Australian and will wait till another version appears then give em another go.

    That cross on the hill had names wich are very common in brazil. after a quick research i found that the son (sebastião maia) who was very rich, was a brazilian who sold everything here and made his life in Australia dealing with cattle, He had two huge farms in Julia creek and in lawn hill. he was known as the King of Cattle in queensland.
    Pretty awesome the coincidence.
    sorry if there are any mistakes with my english.
    cheers from brazil.

    • @Nerb1

      Hi Scotty,
      I took two 12L bladders (3.2 Gallon). But most of the time they were empty. Only used for the few extended legs.

    Interested to hear what kind of pressures you all dropped them down to for the softer sand on the big/little bikes and also what kind on pressures you were all running for the longer 110+kph stints on the asphalt/+200km high speed dirt road sections. Did you all run similar pressures in both cases ~mid 30's on high speed and conservative 17-21ish in the sand or did you all do your own things and any comments on what you found? Just curious on how much of the cracking is attributable to different amounts of heat in the tyre from lower presures/higher speed or (what I think) is it mainly attributable to actual knob flex with higher pressures and the height/sizes/hardenss of those knobs and not being overly well stress relieved by design at those corners?

    Excellent capture Nerb SAN! Have had MotoZ ‘splits’ on both the Adventures and now RallZ! 150/70 rear… Start a poll? Be really keen to hear what MotoZ attributes this defect to! Never seen the same issue with other brands… 🤔

    • @wobblysauce
      @wobblysauce Год назад +3

      Toms front wheel should have the least k’s on it, and should have bit more wear on the rear compared to the other 250.
      Maybe ran higher over the rocks?

    • @HoagesMoto
      @HoagesMoto Год назад +1

      Yeah 140/80 tube type Rallz at about 2000km now with some very minor (less severe than in this vid) splitting on all the centre knobs - been there since about 800km and not worsening yet but not confidence inspiring at all personally - *I'm not in tyre conservation riding mode*

    I recently found your channel and I have been watching a lot of your older videos! I have been really curious, when you did the motor swap on your 1190 how many miles did you end up having on the original motor? Love your channel man! Random question I know.

    The splits are due to the rim size destroying the tire

    • @HoagesMoto
      @HoagesMoto Год назад

      I mean that's incorrect... both the 701 and wr250's are running stock width and aspect ratios 120/90 and 140/80... the leading/most logical hypothesis is a combination of poor design in tread pattern/block and compound selection not providing adequate stress relief at these corners with such a large & tall centre block. I'm seeing similar issues trialing a RallZ in the correct aspect ratio and width on a TR650 rear.
