I am an introvert and get overwhelmed by too much social stimilus. I work 12h shifts talking to people - sometimes 3 days in a row. And I can def say that lots and lots of people are NPCs , and that very sad thing is, you turn more into an NPC the more you are in their surroundings. Cant wait to start making money online without dealing with "dead" people. There are some people that are in the minority though, obviously. But most people are NPCs and/or rude and dead. Theyre not really alive.
Lately I've thought about films like Fight Club, There Will Be Blood, The Matrix, Taxi Driver...
    EDIT: Reflections 7 months later...
I've definitely become more humble and more accepting of other people. Nowadays I really enjoy talking with strangers and people in general and have made new friends since joining a boxing gym. I've realized that I have a problem of being too prideful sometimes though, throughout my life. Many social errors and such became more understandable.
I tend to be more forgiving now, but I still struggle. I still struggle with hateful and violent thoughts, since I do have mild OCD.
I guess I just hated some aspects of the job back then. I was working as a receptionist at a ski resort in summer. Mostly because I love nature and hiking in the mountains.
I did not care for the job whatsoever. I thought I had struck gold since I signed up for a part time job, living there for 2,5 months.
But I worked more than that. Actually, more than full time. This made me anxious and stressed most days.
Some of my colleagues bullied me sometimes. One of them especially. He was in his early 40's and I was 21. I felt a lot of hate for them.
I remember I was at the brink of tears after one too many comments. I went to the bathroom to cool it off, but it was still difficult to hold it off. And I still hade several hours to work for the day.
I really felt a lack of respect many days. That was the most souldraining part. And some of the guests were great and awesome, and some were disrespectful and annoying for petty reasons but most of them neutral.
I used to try to talk to my colleagues, but something was off usually, so I stopped. Some of them were simply numb, and some I didn't jive with at all.
But that has been a recurring thing in my life. People finding me weird or unusual. But not always. I remember going to college for 1 month, and during the first, two week I was the king of the world socially. I had never felt that before; being at the top of the social hierarchy. But my resentment grew as I found the teachers and lessons to be basic and boring (even though I loved the subject).
I generally jive better with people one on one. Throughout my life, I've generally been outcasted in group settings. I think this stems from my disagreeableness, my pride, and being socially awkward sometimes (which I've improved - although it's difficult to balance out being agreeable and disagreeable for me).
Recently, I think I've become better socially, making more friends at the boxing gym, and being more friendly and kind. Also more confident. But I also think that the kind of people who goes to some MMA gym are friendlier people overall, so maybe that's why I've gotten more positive feedback and results - but I think it's a combination of things.
All in all, I think many people life's suck and they hate their work and they take it out on others. Or they don't, and they are more neutral and keep it in themselves, growing a little monster inside of themselves, not knowing how to express it.
In my experience, the lack of kindness and respect in the workplace is the worst.
PS. I am film a nerd, and could have listed other films that I thought about during that time (like First Reformed) but the ones I listed were more popular movies.
EDIT 2 - 1 year later: i dont see other people as NPCs anymore.
I have embraced Catholicism and I haven't felt this level of peace and meaning in several years.

Depends on the country. In my country, people know s hit, they are bluepilled as fu ck in all ways, not just relationship and dating, but they obey everything they are told much like in the movie "They Live". All my friends are so bluepilled they suffer and they don't even know it. Only two of my friends know, one because I told him about what's going on and he realised, and one, who found out all by himself and doesn't even know it to be called a "xy-pill". And working out is the same. A lot of people work out, but even more in my county don't. I see the same that George Carlin described about the US nearly 30 years ago - you see a totally sad and "beaten down" fat fuc k in a supermarket store getting more and more stuff into the cart commanded, dominated and humiliated by his wife, who just down right abuses him all the time, so that his only joy is watching football and drinking beer, who long since forgot that he has his wiener also for some other things than peeing.

Going from the main channel to the Void, it's very interesting to see how different of a feeling you get from both. With the main channel I am always entertained first, and able to relate second. It's a sense of watching a stand up comedian like Bill Burr talking about things that are very understandable, while the main focus is to just be entertaining. Whereas with the Void, it feels like listening to one of the boys talking about what's on their mind. It's very natural. When my friend showed me the main channel I was instantly hooked because a vast majority of what was being said is stuff that I was thinking about, but more importantly, it was funny. If it wasn't funny, even though I agreed with most of the things being said, I wouldn't have cared. All I would've thought is, "Oh, so there are others that think the same. In fact, there is a very large amount of people that do. Cool". But since it was so entertaining, it made me want to keep watching and listen to what you have to offer. So coming here and hearing you rambling, and being able to see your train of thought reminds me that you really are just another guy out here struggling to make sense of it all like I am. There's nothing special about getting it. All we want is to be happy and feel like it's deserved and earned. Could also just be reading into it and I completely missed the messages but I can't read anyway.

When talking to people and discussing life events it can actually be a very helpful and theraputic thing. If you genuinely care about what happens to somebody you can basically help eachother process things that happen and point out things to them that they didnt realize. Talking can help you vocalize thoughts and feelings about things and same with the other person. You end up bouncing emotions off eachother and come out of the conversation fulfilled. If youre talking with someone just waiting to say your shit and dont care what theyre saying and they dont care about your shit, find better stuff to talk about or someone with real shit going on because conversations can be really good. Its just that most people dont know how to conversate. Both people need to be completely open minded and vulnerable for anything to happen, and if you go into it with a mindset of "oh no another shitty transational conversation, man if only people were deep" you wont get anything out of it.

Myself and my friends who do spend more time alone and thinking always talk about in depth observations and topics lie this while most don’t give anything of depth a thought. “NPC’s” as some call them, I feel like people like that are just afraid to be alone with their thoughts and constantly fill their mind with entertainment or have to be with other people.

Gerbert, I have to say this to you. You know you mention about the 80s and 90s in the "Gen Z has no hope", those eras were based on the counter culture of the facade image of American Dream. The thing you witnessing about Andrew Tate is about men rising up and fight against the shaming culture of 'toxic masculinity' the feminst and society casted on us.
Andrew Tate ,or Kevin Samuels, IS the image of counter culture of this generation and the hope for men to take on responsibilites and once again control their own life.

I understand the disdain for small talks, but over time, I realised that these small talks and the inauthenticity of a social exchange is necessary if we wish to stabilise the grid of social relations that do not intersect frequently and resonate as strongly. These seeming superficialities are important in the bigger picture as they maintain the link between people over which information is exchanged. I know that there is more to it than what I said, and what it seems on the surface. While I still despise small talks, which is why I am a social outcast, I think for any society, small talks oil the cogs of the greater organism.

"Once you see it it's wild"
    Literally next sentence:
    "Next thing I realized"
But so true dude, and it used to be a smaller group thinking before tv, which included more groups' opinions in your life, then came the internet, and boy oh boy did the collective conscience get huge all of the sudden, one of the reasons anxiety started rising so high, it's not just our awareness of it that became bigger through most info being one tap away, but the thing is(and you know this yourself), each one of us is unique, so it's hard/stressful staying up to date with how and what the rest of the world thinks, that's my piece.
Edit: i'm going to start doing this just to try it out, but it makes sense: If you want to become more of an individual(not a loner or anything forceful and depriving as that) and think for yourself in every aspect, start using the internet more and more to find the info you need to help yourself out, and get to know more and more about the world, learn about it, even watch documentaries(even those can be biased of course) if reading's not your thing, do that and spend less time gradually on forums/social media/whatever have you, tho that's not the whole recipe, it's nothing but a start to seeing things for what they are and getting closer to the so called reality which isn't real in any way, you can change the course of most if not any situation with proper planning/thinking, but, you have to end up in a position from which you can see all this by yourself, and then you'll see how free you can actually be/are, also a famous guy once said in a verse "Free will is real if you can face the consequences" so it must be true, right ¿
Well, anyway, i wish you luck and a strong heart
