Had to do gardening at this cemetry whilst on CS. Gorgeous cemetry, seen some lovely headstones there. Met a good bunch of lads, too, some of them with a natural skill for landscaping. Good lads just made a few mistakes in life, and dont we all. It's great to see this young black man shining and making the best of what he has and turning it into a positive. Handsworth was my childhood home. Handsworth park on my bike all through the summer. Walking from Handsworth to Newtown cos it was one area. This was in the 70s when racism was rife, but Handsworth held themselves against it. Really sad to see the young people now not really experiencing their childhood in the same way, but without all the beef and the violence that goes with it.
I gotta say most younger now days are getting way more ruthless and disrespectful but these guys seem WAY more respectful towards olders and life in general than most, you can tell these are the youths that have some good grounded morales compared to most
