as somone who works in a repair shop this methiod works (depening how you treat it ) but its not professional it does not look good and it looks like a hack job buying the top case is the more professional way to go but for people who don't want to buy the top case and want a quick fix fast you can try this method

Sir ano size nung thread insert at screws na ginamit nyo? ganyan po mismo yung chasse ng laptop ko. Balak ko ayusin. 2.55 po lahat?
check mo maigi yung screw na nakakabit sa iyo para sure ka. 2.5mm yang ginamit ko diyan. so 2.5mm na drill bit at 2.5mm na screw at nut ginamit ko diyan.

Always open your laptop through the center of the screen. never ever ever ever ever open in on one side.
this is to distribute the force on both hinges. if you keep opening your laptop on one side, the other side doesn't get supported and soon will break down.
