Thanks for posting. I’ve never seen myself run before! Course that’s hard from the engine. I remember that day. 14:36 minutes into the video I know that was me because I’d always shut the motor down while rolling to a stop with the throttle. I was ready to get off!
9:09 you can hear where the engineer goes to idle with brakes set and the train almost stops. It’s because the crew said they were getting off in two cars. Then the engine revs and the train takes off once they’re on the ground. We were clearing a crossover so we could come back out on the main.
Good videos of the locomotive switching rail cars. I noticed at times your focusing on the locomotive number. Just to make more interesting for those of us that are into the type of locomotives, you can usually find the locomotive designation in smaller lettering around the large number. In this case HLCX 1048 is an EMD GP38-2. Love your videos.
Looks like former Soo Line yard.

Great catch of the HLCX switching cars. Also great to see a woman involved in railroading! I'm in the process of building an L shaped Switching Shelf layout 12'x6'x24". Thanks again for sharing your videos and definitely like seeing a variety of different Roadnames other than ELS. I like the Short Line Railroads and when I seen you had a GT locomotive lashed up with CN I was like hell yeah look at this!

I was thinking the same but couldn't tell who because most trainee's would be wearing a different color safety vest like an orange vest..
She was a FOX alright.. I wished we had that cute of conductors working here.. LOL
That entire crew was not the typical crew. They all seemed happy to be there. Perhaps her positive attitude was contiguous.
