Chuffed how the little guy is going. Normally my 5yo don’t do anything as growing or just mentally not ready to do much but he is a gem.

Well done. I think last time I saw him, he was a gangly youngster...😊.

He is a very different horse from his videos from last year. It’s lovely seeing the progression.

The rubber Pelham has been a revelation. It’s not my style to ride in anything but a snaffle and plain noseband if I can, but watched WFP give a lot of love about a soft rubber Pelham and gave it a try.

@@theeventingjourney232 bits for horses are like shoes for us. I have a go to bit but it's not always what the horse suits. Keep the vlogs coming 👏

Thanks - I am pleased how much he has come on. No fast way with horses just a bit of time and strengthening up.

Well wasn’t Robbie just a star. You are doing a great job Lucy in brining him on. He is definitely better at 90 but even then he made it look like 12 inches high. Good work ❤

Thanks - I have had to be patient as some of his issues is his balance which takes time but he is coming on just great

@@Golden1989-daysI hate my hands, I have to work so hard on them. I get tight elbows and get told off a lot for them! Need to be softer. Cameron Beer has terrific hands if you need to watch someone good as does Ros Canter.

If your horse can't do a flying change is it ok to keep going in canter or should I come back to trot and then get the right canter lead, can anyone advise me? The fences are only 70 cm.

So I do a mixture of both. In training I always correct the balance on the whole and correct the leg. Most times in competition I will do the same but sometimes you might not have time and they need to learn so in those cases to carry on. Hope that helps.
