Jesus Christ apparently care racing is a sport because you are putting your body under high levels of stress causing you to sweat. You are also putting yourself in extreme danger racing at high speeds 2 inches away from another car that could collide with you. Although I don’t understand why chess is a sport.
I love the part when she says "and then he kicked into forth gear and I'm like: wow, I still habe a ton of horse left!". Know that feeling and it's amazing when you feel that energy!
First time I've ever seen Johnny perform & he is freakin' amazing! I swear, if the Matterhorn were on the course he'd climb it & jump right off the top without a single thought except "Get it done!" what a horse, what arider.
And people say this isn't a sport. God. What do they think of golf? It's just like saying "oh the club does all the work, you just stand there and swing" That was an example. I don't actually think that with golf.
EquestrianEquitation it's challenging alright. It's listed in the top 10 most dangerous sports. You are putting your lives into the horses hand. You better hope you have a strong bond with that horse or else one mistake can lead to death. Now that's a complicated sport. And equestrians agree?
Having done competitive soccer, upper level ballet (en pointe), and horseback riding, I can attest to the fact that horseback riding is just as challenging. Horseback riding requires incredible balance, significant strength, and the capability to judge situations with accuracy and split second speed. When riding, I find myself breathing as hard as I would be if running, if not more -I just don't notice it as much, since I have to concentrate on riding.
These horse People can talk Horse all they want to. Riding that horse ar 38 miles an hour takes unbelievably talent from the rider. Not to mention you have one Hell of a Horse.
This is my all time favourite video. I cry every time I see it because of how proud I am of a complete stranger. I am so happy for you and have been watching you and Johnny for what seems like forever! Go Team Wallace!
I would NEVER have the balls for this. This is madness for me. Through the whole video I was scared... thinking the horse will break his legs or the rider will fall together with the horse... no man, I don't have the nerves for this.
Oh WOW, Elisa, you and Johnny did EXCELLENT!!!! Talk about an adrenaline rush watching this, and the course was so slippery, there were a few jumps that were "WHEW" gotta gulp and thank Johnny so much for taking it - HE DID IT!!! Way to go Johnny, you would jump the moon for Elisa!!! xxx
omg I was shaking through the whole video - it was so so cool! Elisa you and Johnny were marvelous! The combined trust, confidence and skill are really something to see :)
You and Johnny deserve to be at Burghley. It's obvious that you both have worked so so so hard and it shows. All of that hard work is paying off. Great job!!!!!
Wow, you and your horses are so talented! It is very obvious how much your horses love you. The bond and trust level they have with you run very deep. Love your videos.
Great job Both of you Billie the horse People who do it because they love horses are that enthusiastic and it great to hear I agree so proud of you and Johnny you did amazing work with Elisa 👍
Love watching you guys, Johnny is amazing and you are just an incredible rider. From mustang breaking to 4star eventing, you kill it. You are such an inspiration to all of us equesteians
I just want to say that I think you and Johnny are so great and inspiring and it makes my day every time there is a new video! I wish you good luck for everything in the future and I know that one day I will see you at the Olympics with a gold medal in your hand :) Thank you so much xxx
That was an amazing round, brilliant team and that horse has the heart of a lion. Bless him he's got a little funny flick with his legs at times but he doesn't half make it work for both of them. He was just popping the biggest most daunting fences on the course like they were little training fences at home!
As a fellow rider, I still cannot believe the endurance you and your horse have! WOW WOW WOW! Thank you for helping me show my husband that it is a cardio workout for you and your horse! I do Hunter/Jumper and I'm 55 years young! LolI have great respect for you and your amazing animal! Way toGo!!
This blog was amazing! Love the editing. I loved seeing the farrier and the therapy and the warm up and then hearing the interviews! It's definitely a goal now to see you do cross country so I can yell "go Johnny go!"
I find horses so incredibly impressive. They look so fragile and somehow in my head I always see those thin legs just snap in half whenever they go over a big jump. It’s amazing 😍😍
Well done!! I am so happy for you both. I was hoping to get to see you at Burghley but my health was too bad to get there, but I gave you some money to help you get to there as i knew that you both had what it takes to finish Burghley and to get placed in the top 20.I hope that you get to Burghley next year as I really would love to see you in person. I love you and i so wish that I could have seen you in person this year as we don't far from Burghley. I have been following you for ages and I love everything you do not just the eventing but what you do with the mustangs as well. I was wondering if I could have your autograph please it would mean so much to me please? I love your video's! Take care and lot's of love from Kelli xxxx
Saw you both through one of the waters at Fair Hill Int. last year. This was so freakin' awesome!!! Gave me goosebumps to watch you two.... Johnny is amazing!
You both did awesome!! Congratulations to your first four star!! **** thank you for posting this! It is great to see the behind the scenes of cross country and the rider's comments on how they felt through the course!!
Omg that was an amazing round cross country you and your horse🤘🏽just started watching your blogs and I'm really inspired by your everything with horses keep on going for those next olympics kisses from England xx
Honestly you two give me my heart into my throat bc of all the close calls but he takes you threw them and you two make it through together and you always credit your horse and it’s so nice to see that
I'm kind of late to the party here, but you guys did wonderfully! I purchased an OTTB earlier this year, and I'm striving to achieve the bond you have with Johnny. He really showcases the athleticism and grit of the thoroughbred breed, and you are an amazing rider. Truly inspirational! Thank you!
This is so fun! When I was a kid I used to set up jumps in the forest by myself and hop over them with my little 14 hand Morgan. Then got into reining as an older adult. But your videos have been thrilling, taking me back to childhood dreams. Thank you!
I can't believe people think horse riding is easy. Heck, it's harder than ANY sport I've ever played. This is a good example of an amazing horse and rider team and that anything is possible ;)
I go to Burghley every year, and the fact that I watched you go around the course long before I found your channel is crazy to me. Excellent ride, as soon as I saw the thumbnail I could recognise the Cottesmore leap anywhere!!
I love military competitions :D I am gonna start riding it next season, so I can wait. :D I was on some military competitions with people from "our" stable. I just love that ambience, so many horse trailers, tents, horses, stands and riders in one place.. Iam from Czech republic (in the centre of Europe), we are really small country, we have one big military competition with cca 7 categories and that sport is not so popular here, so this "races" are really personaly and theres no "nonequestrians" among the audience. But now, snow is everywhere and we can just go to trot walks or little work on riding place.. Oh.. I cannot wait for next season! :3
What Katelyn said. Cross country jumps do not fall like show jumping jumps. If a horse connects, they have to be able to slide over them, otherwise they'll catch and flip over.

What a rider. More than anyone else I follow, she rides like a true partner. Centaur. It's beautiful
Well done you looked amazing xx
amazing horse and amazing rider!!!!
The thumbnail is really scary! I'm not even a jumper either so 😂
Go Elisa!!! Congrats!!
What is the stuff they put on the horses legs before XC
its a grease to help limbs slide over obstacles if they hit instead of possibly getting stuck up.
What Katelyn said. Cross country jumps do not fall like show jumping jumps. If a horse connects, they have to be able to slide over them, otherwise they'll catch and flip over.
Lorena Burgi yeah but I think they changed it though
its like grease stuff ( not exactly that)
but it helps them slip over the jump better
and so they dont get stuck :D
yeah but they only changed some fences most of them are still solid
Absolutely luvvvv this ..... and you have an amazing horse - big hearted and sooo willing. Will we see you in olympics 2020?
You guys are utterly and absolutely amazing!❤️💖
God that horse is brave! Great ride.
First time ive seen this. Wow that was an amazing round!
Weird that this is being recommended now.
