    Just underneath the oil cap, there's a round black cap with 2 x 10mm? bolts securing it, can this be removed to refill the oil?, as it looks very
    restrictive filling oil where the oil cap is. Pretty sure I've seen another video somewhere of him doing this.

    I have a question, a VW Polo 1.2 of 70 hp 6R, to change spark plugs is it imperative to buy originals from the brand so as not to make a mistake or can we buy brands like Bosch or NGK or similar in competition? I heard an engineer say that he saw a case where they put some NGKs and it went wrong after a few kilometers, which then went out.

    I'll be doing an oil change on one of these soon. I take it you replace the oil seals on the oil filter stem and cap? Also, I couldn't quite see where the oil level was on the dip stick when you brought it to the camera, was it to the top of the hatched area on the dip stick, or the TOP "crease"mark?, as there looks to be a lower and top crease mark.
    Cheers.

    i have the same polo as this it constantly runs rough and misfires on cylinder 2, it’s had new spark plugs and coil pack still issue remains it’s been serviced and had compression test on cylinder 2 do you have any other suggestions as it’s apparently a common problem on the 1.2 non turbo but i’m yet to find a solution

    • @jaysworkshopgarage
      @jaysworkshopgarage  3 года назад

      To be honest those 3 things you mentioned is what I would have told uou to do, Spark Plug - Coil Pack - Compression test. As you have done them all of these I don’t really know what to say apart from cleaning out your injectors or your timing could be out.
