This intake system is unnecessarily secure. Constant tension clamps for goodness sake. And those bloody clips! What’s wrong with screws? Anyway, very useful video, thank you :)
Thanks for the video I used it to change my air filter today, if they had put the screws at the top or done away with them it would be so easy to change the filter without disconnecting the hoses
Totally agree about the upside down design of the air filter location. I can only think that they were using a standard VW/Audi/Seat filter that has a different under bonnet position and the filter element frame can't take the screw pressure from the reverse side? Regardless, I've referred to this video as a reminder every 6 months, for the last few years, when I vac/clean our (far superior to the paper element) after market ITG Profilter. Many thanks, excellent video.

Completed all steps up to pulling it out off the inlet conduit and it seems to be stuck down. When I pull the whole engine shakes. Any idea how to get it off? Its a 17 reg but only 25k miles if that makes a difference?
Pull harder, nothing to break.
