could i put a new induction kit in this box if i take off the black plastic tube and open the box leave it open and connect a new metal pipe with an air filter and let it sit into the box
There is smaller in diameter hose going from that lid into engine, where does it connects to? I got mine disconnected when I opened filter lid. Looks broken too and like it didn't happened when I opppeened...
It push fits into a small opening on the engine. If you get a torch and look under the Black plastic tube - look at time 1.05. The hole in the smal plastic housing at the end of this flexible offshoot push fits comfortably into a hole in a metal casting. It is some sort of rebreather I think and is a bit oily.

Like it holds air, i took my off and it revs higher at start up then sinks to normal revs
