- This week we put together a compilation of some of our favourite recent bits from the channel showing how unbreakable the bond is between me and the animals.

The Kevin Richardson Wildlife Sanctuary's mission is to provide a self-sustaining African carnivore sanctuary for the purposes of wild species preservation through education, awareness and funding, especially pertaining to the rapid decline of large carnivores in Africa due to habitat loss, human-predator conflict, unscrupulous hunting, disease and their illegal trade.
To raise awareness, Kevin has now set up his RUclips Channel 'LionWhispererTV'. The channel is all about raising awareness about not only the declining numbers of lions, but also how this rapid decrease is happening. By watching these videos, you are directly contributing to our scheme of land acquisition.
Kevin captures the majority of his footage on GoPro cameras, allowing the viewer to get as close as possible to the lions.
By doing this, Kevin hopes to give people an insight into the lives of these beautiful creatures and to let them see just what they can do to help. You can nearly touch them.

i'm honestly so jealous, it must be so fun to have all these beautiful animals as friends! and it's such a privilege to have them trust you so much.
Guess it´s a 24/7 work where you have to cut off most weekends, family and some friends. Of course you get a great life experience in exchange but damn, sounds hard if you imagine all the other consequences that goes with it.

@@Pincer88 My parents have no affection in them because they grew up in strict orphanages with strict religious rules and I was neglected by them many times because I am their last priority. I was never given any of the 5 languages of love. Even now nothing has changed and they make me feel bad for things that are out of my control and I adopted a cat to cope but they also have no affection to the cat so I realise it wasn't me but it still hurts sometimes

My first and last encounter/interaction with a house cat resulted in my stomach being scratched and this guy literally pets and plays with LIONS like they are puppies. Omg. He is amazing.

This man has a gift, he knows how to communicate with animals.
He knows how to spell on them..you can be friend with one or two but he's a friend for the entire Lion kingdom.Lion's think he's one of them.
There is no gift here, only determination, will, courage and understanding like pretty much every relationship. What makes him different is his courage to be with such powerful animals most people tremble when they just hear about them.

I rewatch these videos all the time. I’ve done it for years and it never gets old to me. Seeing sweet Amy’s face just, not expecting it in this particular video, was emotional for me. I’m praying I will be able to visit in time to meet Meg. Kevin’s extraordinary in his love, passion, hard Work and a lifetime commitment to make sure not just the animals in his care have an amazing life but their cousins in the wild have the right to live their life without interference by humans. An inspirational life worth noting & watching.

This is the reason why we are here... No other animal would say "Yeap, I'm gonna be friend of that killing machine". Humans have the ability to bond with almost any other animal. We should be taking care of all of them.

He understands the big kitties, he shows them nothing but love and affection. And in return they show the same. He trusts them like they trust him. It’s remarkable and really an amazing thing to see something like this. I’m a cat lover and would love the opportunity to be able to interact with large cats. Extremely humbling to watch the animals take to him like one of there own

Big responsibility buddy, easy to say hard to get done. You need to trust them with your life, have MASSIVE land for them to live, I think I'd pass but if your like Kevin Richardson and have all of that go for it
I know it's not the same as what you mean, but having pet cats, rabbits, or birds that trust you immensely can actually be pretty difficult if you don't know what you're doing. Instead of wishing for something you don't have, why not try for something you could do, like a pet? An animal companion period is such an amazing thing if you're able to bond with them. And believe me, you'll be able to tell when they like vs actually bond with you. Sounds silly, but having that kind of relationship like in the video above is very similar, you have to have a mutual respect for the animal, no matter how big or small it is.
True but general pet like cats, dogs, birds etc are more worth your time, easier to take care of and chances are they wont kill you when they are in a bad mood
