South Devon Railway Spring Gala 2 - Sunday 15th March 2020 - Shunting - tastic!

Day 2 of the Gala saw me spending a couple of hours or so at a very busy Buckfastleigh station. Guest loco 4555 making it's final appearance on the S.D.R. was on passenger duty but was also used extensively in the yard rearranging the S.D.R.s demonstration freight train. It also starred in a favourite Buckfastleigh activity - fly shunting a GWR Toad Brake Van.
Lots of shots of this lovely loco but the other 3 gala locos also make several appearances:
6412 on an autocoach working
1369 on freight and passenger turns
5542 on a passenger service
Despite the weather at the end it was a lovely day and one which won't be repeated for a long time.
