LYR / LNWR Merger Centenary Weekend

A special steam gala weekend to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the merger of the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway and the London & North Western Railway.
Freshly restored Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Pug Number 19 is seen shunting a freshly repainted set of wagons in L&YR and LNWR liveries at Bury Castlecroft Yard.
