I think you should expand your knowledge on this subject. I have nothing against people who celebrate Christmas and kids enjoy it, but it's still Pegan. Birth of Jesus is not known. Hear Pat Robertson ruclips.net/video/Pr86eB5PQks/видео.html
Thanks giving got nothing to do with Christmas??? or anything holy???...it's just a time when the natives gave the settlers(people from the U.K. and Europe) some meat(turkey) because otherwise they would have died??this is why no other country celebrates thanksgiving cos its an American thing ....Hi from the UK
When I saw the first videos of you I was shocked at how much flux you use, but the solder joints get so clean and I guess it also protects the other components nearby from heat. Thanks for this tip.
You are blessed to have Big Boss to help you. that part is so time consuming. so can your company get larger fan connectors? like for this laptop? i bought the smaller ones you offer but need larger. thanks
What do you do when a customer doesn't come by to pick up the repaired product? Do some people show up after months or years and demand to get back what they left you?
Actually you're right about Christmas. It's the pegan winter solstice, to celebrate the returning of the light because daylight time is getting longer. In the early days of Christianity it was common practice to embrace popular pegan festivals and embed them into 'Christian' rituals to make Christianity more acceptable for pegans. Santa Claus absolutely has got nothing to do with Christmas. This figure comes from an old Christian celebration in Europe. It's named the Sinterklaas (Saint Nicolas) festival. In western Europe we celebrate the birthday of Saint Nicolas on december 5th. Somehow in the US Saint Nicolas became Santa Claus and it got connected to Christmas. I celebrate Christmas every year although (or maybe because) I'm not religeous. For me it still represents the returning of the light. Oh, by the way, we don't eat turkey.
Not to mention also, The easter bunny and halloween. people will believe anything in the name of religion. Tell them the truth about what the Scriptures say and that, they will not believe.
you are doing an excellent job. real professionals not scammers. but I have a question......... I have a lenovo tinkpad e495 laptop. it starts but does not baptize. it doesn't boot from ssd or usb.
Wow nice job… "Soon, I will bring you my MSI GP75 laptop. Honestly, I didn't leave it plugged in for a week. I used it normally for one day and then stopped using it for two weeks, leaving it disconnected from power. Yesterday, when I wanted to use it, it wouldn't turn on. Only the battery indicator LED turned on, but the laptop never powered up again."
I agree with you on the Christmas celebration, it’s all about economy by making people spend money. I celebrate it because it fun but not because of any religious reason.
Thanks Alex for the content. Q. I found that Lead-based solders usually melt at 356-374F and Lead-free is around 422-440F.. How and why would the laptop produce that much heat to melt the solder and kill the pc? seems quite dangerous, and the fact that the current has to go through all of the components before it reaches the mosfet is also interesting.
When mosfets fail their on resistance can climb, this causes excessive heat which make the resistance climb higher. Then it spirals out of control and fails.

You are absolutely right. Christmas is never a real thing. But people gain business opportunities by celebrating it. And yet there are still butthurt people when they hear you speak this
Honestly think you should do a video of the most repaired items that come through your shop. I know it's a bit of a difficult one, I once asked a breakdown guy what is the most reliable car given the amount he is called out to. He said a Ferrari because he's never had a breakdown call to one. So it does depend on the % out in the community.
Here's why that Ferrari logic doesn't really rev up: First, Ferraris aren't your go-to grocery getters. They chill in garages more than hitting the roads, so obviously, they're breaking down less. Plus, Ferrari owners are all about that premium care, rarely letting them hiccup before getting checked. Also, seeing a Ferrari is like spotting a unicorn, they're rare, so fewer of them equals fewer breakdowns. And just 'cause they ain't calling for a tow doesn't mean they're not quietly getting tuned up.
You're welcome 😅😂 what I meant was it's the same with these devices you have to consider the factor that some of them are expensive or not used very frequently and will be sent to repair much less @@ifell3

I have the same laptop. It works if I plug in a charged battery, but not from power adapter. It says it is charging, but does not draw any amps. I found out that one of the mosfets behind the power jack was shorted. I replaced it with same model, but now it does not run on a charged battery or DC adapter. If I short the first mosfet connecting to DC jack, it runs on DC, but does not charge even though it says it does. So I disconnected the battery inside and run it on DC input. It works fine like this though. Anything I can do to fix this? What drives those mosfets?

Okay. Alex. You should maybe read up on the origin of the Christmas holiday and Thanksgiving. You have a rather shallow understanding obviously

Excellent work Alex as usual.. no wastage of time.. to the point.. as you say.. yes , experience counts!
Same with Xmas for me, it’s been far too commercialized for my taste. I will however take the time off to recharge and play with my own projects.

When I saw the first videos of you I was shocked at how much flux you use, but the solder joints get so clean and I guess it also protects the other components nearby from heat. Thanks for this tip.
That's because you start out building stuff, and there is plenty of flux in the solder. When repairing however, you need 4x the amount of flux.
Flux is your friend, adding more can never go wrong :)
Also the camera makes it look like lots of flux until you zoom out
@@gordonm2821 Lmao for real it's less than a grain of rice for most of his uses.
I mean he’s using a microscope on tiny components… it’s not as much flux as you think it is
