    Thats my switch, so to start off i wasnt trying to fool anyone on the description. i did my best to explain what was wrong from what i knew. i dont have all his fancy tools to diagnose all that other stuff, thats why i sent it to him.
    i bought that switch brand new on launch day so its a couple years old. its not custom or a special addition or anything fancy. but has all my info and saved data on it. only thing was the original plastics where allready breaking apart so i ordered a new shell and atempted to change it my self. bent the connector pins and thought that was all since it was working fine before i took it apart other then the shell falling apart. i did take it to a local repair shop and dont know if they caused extra damage or if it was me. but they said it was not fixable. but glad to see alex was able to get it fixed 😁👍🏽

    I remember I once had a very badly cracked screen on my phone that I went in to get replaced. Despite it being very hard to read the screen, the tech checked every little last detail of the phone painstakingly making sure everything from the calling, wifi, sound, etc and all general function of the phone was OK before doing the screen replacement. Even checked voltage draw and charging. I didn't really understand why he went through all that trouble for simply a broken screen I asked to be replaced, but after watching some of these videos, I understand fully now.

  • @alexlefevre3555
    @alexlefevre3555 Год назад +1

    I see the screen issue all the time when a customer attempts to change the entire shell to something "cooler" like the transparent colors. The requirement to gently heat the adhesive and essentially peel the screen off the front frame seems to end in disaster more times than it doesn't. Most of the time a removal pick was slid directly into the ribbon cable and that's that.

    • @QactisX
      @QactisX 11 месяцев назад

      did that on a really old DS Lite. Spent hours methodically and carefully replacing the shell, only to have the top screen flash and bottom screen not work at all. I couldn't find any damage and it may just be improperly seated ribbon cables (they looked finicky), but after hours I was tired of messing with it.

    Faulty IC, broken connector, faulty battery, and a faulty screen... If all of that is true, I think it might be prudent to assume that the customer was trying to pull a heist by sending in a bunch of broken parts with the intention of demanding a good console in return.

    I have seen this issue before with no display showing it being charged or turning on. What it might be is a hacked switch with AUTORCM installed. you will need to let it charge and then run the payload injector and run hekate and it will boot. once it boots you will gain back access to the unit.

      Look at their shop. You'll see a picture of it there. Everything they use on the benches, is carried and sold in their shop.

    Goodness - amazing work. Be interested to know what you actually charged the customer for a repaired motherboard, a new screen and a new battery. Almost a new Switch really.
