Oh my, love love this collection. All of your new patterns are great but the one that really jumps out at me is “Yesteryears”. Can’t wait for more information on the fussy cut ruler. Thank you Cory for all that you do. And, I really love your horse story.
Your hand quilting video where you list all the supplies, especially the information about type thread and needle size, was fantastic, I chose the same weight thread as you suggested for the hand quilting and the needle size too and it was a pure joy to do it, before that I had hand quilted two other big quilts but the quilt shop had suggested a thin thread and stitching in the ditch. Whilst they looked nice, I felt that all the hard work I had done wasn’t visible at all, so now it’s chunkier thread and I quilt where it’s visible, usually echoing the design and the result is so much more satisfying than before. Yes, there are other videos out there on hand quilting but you are incredible helpful with the knowledge that you share with us and you always give great advice on viewer’s questions, a winning combination in my opinion, so thank you Corey, you are a true gem❤
I'm so glad that you enjoyed the hand quilting series I shared. I thought it was a lot of fun to share....I really enjoy what hand quilting adds to a quilt. And, I too, like when you can easily see all of those pretty stitches----thread can be just as much fun to purchase as fabric! =)
I am in love what the chickadee quilt pattern. I can't imagine what it takes to pull this whole project together of the quilt pattern and quilt fabric designs but you knocked it out of the park! I love your summery, happy demeanor and the story about the horse chewing on the quilt just cracks me up. Looks like little to no damage has actually been done so it's just a nice memory stamp on there! 0:13
Thank you so much for all the thought you put into your pattern-at-a-glance info on the back of your patterns. That speaks volumes about your generosity and sincere interest in quilters of all levels.🤗
I thoroughly enjoyed watching you talk about your patterns. They are all beautiful, of course. Telling us about the horse who so appreciated your quilts that he needed to taste them made me laugh out loud 🤣
I love your "Sweetest" quilt! It's so pretty! I've been making quilts for a bit over 50 years. I used to do hand quilting all the time. I live in Ohio, and I was taught how to hand quilt by 2 Old Order Amish women. When they showed me how to do it, they were very surprised by how quickly I picked it up. They kept asking me if I was sure I had never done it before! Recently, I started to take my quilts to a long armer. I don't have any children, but I do have 5 nieces and nephews. I've been making a quilt for each one as they get married. I use the colors they like with a pattern I like. There is one niece left. Since I'll be 72 years old in 2 weeks, I hope she gets engaged soon! And since the babies have started to arrive, they get quilts too. I quilt theirs on my domestic machine. I try to get down to Charm, Mt. Hope and Walnut Creek every other month. Thank you so much for all of your hard work, Corey!
Oh my goodness Corey!!! They are all so beautiful. Love the chickadee one. My favorite is the flower with the yellow polka dot fabric added. The yellow just makes this one stand out. It just made me smile when I saw it. Such a Happy Quilt. Amazing fabrics and amazing quilts. I really like the last one with the panels too. The aqua is the perfect fabric to go in this quilt. I’m so happy for you. Great job designing the fabrics and designing and making the quilts. Hugs 💛🧵🌻 PS - The horse story is hilarious!!! He knows a good quilt when he tastes it. 😂🐴
Hi Corey. Such beautiful quilts! Love the mini sewing machine quilt but when I say Yesteryear my heart sang - it is so beautiful. You are a joy to watch and listen to. Thank you x
They are all so pretty and if I had to choose then the Yesteryear quilt would be my favorite. I like the colors and the pattern. The quilting made it shine too. I really like the barn star quilts too. I have been making them for the kids and grandbabies so each one gets a star but it is a different design for each and they know which one is their special star. I am so looking forward to the Abloom collection coming out. I am anxiously awaiting my pre-orders and look forward to creating with this gorgeous line.
I was taught a knotted quilt was call a “Tied Quilt” I used yarn to tied a quilt and the yarn became gnarly after few years. Also, I made the yarn too long and it would catch on everything. Now I quilt all my quilts.
I've heard it called both ways as well. All of my knotted quilts have been knotted with yarn with no tangling issues...it would seem that different yarns might behave differently. The other knotted quilts I have, have much shorter ties. Whether you knot or quilt...getting a quilt finished to enjoy is the goal!
Corey, just when I think your fabrics and patterns can't get any prettier, you go and outdo yourself again. I ❤ all the patterns, and want to make them all. I think the first one will be the chickadee pattern. I love birds, but also love flowers so that's a must have too. The new barn quilt is also a must. Oh heck, I might as well go for the pattern bundle. ❤ This working full-time is getting in the way of my quilting fun. 🤣🤣🧵✂️🪡💗💗💗💗
Corey, I enjoy your work, your fabrics, and your quilt patterns. What a beautiful collection and verity of quilt patterns. I like your size of quilts and enjoy that they are rectangles because, I have yet to see a square bed. 🎉
Thanks so much! I'll do both rectangle and square quilts...some patterns look better as a square and they can be very nice for throws that you aren't planning to use on a bed.
I have to choose Yesteryear as my favorite. The overall softness is luxurious. I'm eager to start the Fat Quarter Shop's charity quilt with this fabric line, too.
Yesteryear is my favorite beautiful especially the aqua colorway, I also love the new Barnstar quilt adding that one to my list, oh and the Jelly roll quilt.... thank you Corey
Watching this late because I was gone early Saturday. You are such a ray of sunshine. I have ordered plenty of Cali and Co and I am so looking forward to getting it. Thank you again for your Saturday morning video.
Love them all! Can not pick a favorite. So excited I preordered a bundle. Wish I had ordered more already. Grandsons are here and the two year old said come to our house Corey Yoder. He enjoyed watching with me💙
@@CorianderQuilts I loved that he said what he said. He asked me who is that? I told him and then he said come to our house Corey Yoder…it was precious! He liked watching with me which was amazing!
Good morning! Such beautiful fabric and patterns. The Jelly Dash spoke to me throughout the video, but your panel quilt....WOW! Thank you so much for sharing!
All of the new quilts are beautiful, I think yesteryear is my favorite. That's so funny about the horse nibbling on your quilt! I'm glad he didn't do much damage!
I’m SO in love with all the Coriander Seeds line! I never fail to find the perfect background in this line🧡 Love the way you’ve printed info on your patterns Corey! It gives us a wonderful glimpse of techniques to use. MUCH appreciated! Can’t wait to sew along with the Designer Mystery Quilt using your Abloom line! Loving all your new patterns!🧡🧵
Once again I get to start my Saturday with a visit from Corey Yoder who is always cheerful and shares a wealth of knowledge and beautiful fabric and quilts. I am having a hard time choosing a favorite, so I am picking 3 - the Chickadee quilt, the flower quilt, and the mini Sewing Machine quilt. Thank you, thank you, thank you❣️
I absolutely adore your quilts. I love watching your videos and using your fabrics and patterns. You are such a fun personality. The birdie quilt is on my list❤. Barnstar and sewing machine quits are so cute!
All are done so beautifully .. I can’t decide on only one favorite … love all the fabric colors and prints .. a candy shop in fabrics .. 0 calories and yummy just the same …. ❤😂😊
Beautiful quilts! Love the picture block quilts! I've learned to really enjoy those kinds of quilts as I've spent quite a bit of time this year making several!
My favorites are Jelly Dash and Chickadee. Thanks for a beautiful fabric line again. I like the ease of a jelly roll quilt especially when I love all the fabrics in the line!
I truly enjoy how you are very thorough in your explanations of techniques, fabrics, template use all things quilty. I love your fabrics, I am more of a traditionalist in my fabric choices and your fabrics have always drawn me to them. I do like the Jelly Dash quilt, the In Stitches Mini, how cute for a sewing room, and Yesteryear, would make a lovely quilt for a baby's room, in those colors. In regards to the person who was looking for ways to finish her quilt without sending out for longarm services, you mentioned tying, Donna Jordan of Jordan Fabrics has a really great tutorial. Love your videos.
Thanks for sharing the quilting options. I may try hand quilting. It looks so nostalgic and comfy. I like your new line of fabrics and patterns. The chickadee and sweetest patterns are my favorite, but they all are wonderful. Great job 👏. Thank you for sharing your quilting knowledge and tips. I always learn something new. Wishing you a wonderful week. 🌷
I use my embroidery machine to do edge to edge, works great. Corey, how you got that big quilt done on a small machine is amazing. You are really good at free motion quilting, they all look great. My favorite pattern is the scrappy turn dash. I’ll be adding that to my list of sooner not later quilts to make. I signed up for Fat Quarter Shops 2025 Designer Mystery Block of the month that uses your Abloom fabric line. I’m really looking forward to that too. Take care and thanks for sharing all your beautiful quilts.
I Love Starting My Saturdays with Corey! I like when Corey Answers Questions from Quilters and the idea of quilting skills on the back of her patterns. My Favorite Patterns are Handiwork and Jelly Roll Dash Quilt. Both of the Quilts have Gorgeous Backing!
All of your new quilts are absolutely beautiful. I am leaning towards Chickadee right now, but am also loving Yesteryear!! Probably spelled that wrong! So much fun.. Thank you Corey. ❤
If I had to pick my favorite quilt… It’d be “yesteryear” I loved it❣️ “Sew pretty” ‼️ I wasn’t sold on the embroidery print panel till I saw how you used it 😊 Thanks for the Saturday Show 🎉
They are all beautiful patterns! Sweetest and Chickadee is probably my 2 favorites, but I also love Yesteryear. I'm really looking forward to this line and already have my wish list started. 😊
These new quilts are beautiful in your new line. Yesteryear is one I will be making! Love the panel and the aqua color!! Very nice in designing the patterns and Abloom!!!
I love all of your quilts, they are just beautiful. You have the perfect taste of quilts for me. Thank you for your traditional taste. It is perfect for me.
I love your panels. I came across one of your patterns that use your panels and these should be perfect. Love your "Sweetest" quilt. Im a big fan of yellow.
Thank you so much. You are truly an amazing artist. I love your fabrics and patterns . I love the chickadee the best. So adorable. Thanks for all the info you share.
Oh my, these are great patterns and a wonderful fabric collection. I really like the Jelly Roll Dash, so many possibilities. I also cross stitch, so I think I will definitely do both the Yesteryear and Handiwork pattens with the “stitched” panel pieces. Of course I will be adding the Barn Star pattern to my collection. I really like the blue sewing machine in the Cali & Co line. Abloom is going to be a popular line.
I love your new fabric line, as always!! I have ordered the Mini quilt since I will soon be moving and I will have a sewing room and I want to make it to put on my wall. I am looking forward to the release of Abloom! Thank you for sharing all of your new items.
Corey, the new fabric and all your quilts are beautiful! Hmmm, a favorite..., I do like the chickadee and the sweetest. I also like the sewing machine wall hanging as well. But as I said earlier, they are all so beautiful ❤❤
Love that quilting on Sweetest! At first glance, it DID look like orange slices - LOL! I would be one that would have horses eating quilts All of your patterns are wonderful Corey.
Really like Yesteryear followed by Handiwork and Jelly Dash. I'm looking for a quilt pattern for a wedding gift for my grandson. Thank you for the video
All the new patterns are beautiful. I always enjoy a pattern like Handiwork, nice and simple and just shows the fabric off really well. I also think your Springbrook Blossom pattern would look amazing in Abloom fabric. Its always so hard to choose what to make. I still want to do a Sunday Best Sampler and Abloom would be a great choice for that as well.
Horses know a great quilt when they see it! Great patterns and beautiful fabrics! Thanks Corey!
Thank you!

Love that quilting on Sweetest! At first glance, it DID look like orange slices - LOL! I would be one that would have horses eating quilts All of your patterns are wonderful Corey.
It really does, doesn't it!
Really like Yesteryear followed by Handiwork and Jelly Dash. I'm looking for a quilt pattern for a wedding gift for my grandson. Thank you for the video
You're so welcome!....thank you!
I think Spring Brook Blossoms would be pretty in Abloom. =)
