I always look forward for Saturday morning. However I saved it to watch while my husband was watching football 😊. I think I like the total scrappy for the quilt.
I have signed up for the 2025 designer mystery BOM with your fabrics and am so excited for that. FQS is so so generous with their fabric cuts and monthly block packets.
Good Morning Corey! In yesterday's live, Kimberly mentioned she & FQS have been offering the Designer Mystery Quilt for 18 years! Love your Abloom fabric line!
Thank you so much for all the quilty inspiration! I can depend on You to always spark my creative process. I've purchased the Bespoke pattern and am really liking the gray background version, usually I choose a white or lighter color but thanks to you, I've branched out to the grays and recently even used Black! Love, love Beautiful Day and now Abloom is on my "To Buy" list.
Thank you Corey !! I love the dark grey background those stars just pop !! There’s just something about that dark grey color makes it look amazing!! Love those low volume prints !! 😊❤
I’m doing the 2024 designer mystery from FQS and I love it. I told my sister, I’ll skip 2025 because I’ll got some much stash I need to work on, but…. After watching your video this morning and my sister saying every other breath “Oh that fabric is beautiful” as you showed the abloom fabric, I caved.. I’m so excited and I’m all signed up at FQS for the 2025 designer mystery. My sister is over the moon…. She said she would pay for the quilting once it’s finished! Can’t pass that up. Thanks Cory love your fabrics and your videos.
So glad you released Bespoke as an individual pattern...just love it and plan to grab a copy from your Etsy shop. My favorite is the dark background and really like the Grey thatch fabric you chose. Thanks for sharing the three colorways. They all look great!
I love the darker background! Ordered my Calico fat eighth bundle yesterday and it is on its way! I had so much fun with the Cuddle Up Sampler I wanted to do the next one with you as well. Thanks for everything Corey!
I love the one hanging in the background. I think the dark one is pretty also but I don't care for the bigger blocks. I love everything Corey Yoder! ❤️❤️. Thank you 😊
The blocks in the quilts are the same size. =) I know it doesn't look like it when watching the video but they actually are both made using 12" finished blocks. =)
Thanks Corrie for your cheerful videos.🤗The pattern with the dark background is lovely, my first choice, a stark difference from the other two. The quilt hanging behind you would be my second choice.
I have learned a lot from working with you all these years. I take a lot of pride when choosing a thread color. As I feel the color of the thread I choose can really affect the quilt look. Like you, I choose a lot of warm white for most of my quilting. If we look close, we will see that most fabric has more white than any other color.
I like the scrappy charm pack version the best. As soon as you said charm pack, I thought of all the Christmas charm packs I have that could be put to good use in this quilt. I’m really looking forward to the Abloom collection and I’m planning on making the 2025 mystery quilt.
Hi Corey. Beautiful quilts. 3 way options is brilliant of you to share, thank you 🙏 so much. I do really like the graphite. Very striking. Also the scrappy with charm packs. ❤️
Hi Corey! Love this pattern! I think the dark background is so striking but then you showed the last example - extra scrappy and now I really like that one. . .and I was sure I really liked the first one best. 😂 I’m just now getting ready to quilt the Cuddle Up Sampler. Love your fabrics, patterns, and videos. Thanks so much!
I signed up for it all as soon as it was available, the fabric caught my attention, it is so beautiful! This will be my first Designer Quilt Along with FQS. Also, Saturday’s are the best because of you and all you do for us!! Thank you!!!
Corey, I so enjoy your Saturday videos. You are a very special woman, and I truly admire you. I love the Bespoke quilts - I think I would choose the dark background as my favorite. I just got a notice that some of my Cali&Co precuts have shipped. Yay! Maybe I’ll do this quilt with some. Hmm… I also have signed up for the Designer Mystery with Abloom. I’m really looking forward to that, and also your mystery quilt with Cali&Co. Two Corey Mystery BOMs in one year - very exciting! ❤
I am so excited you will be quilting along with us on the 2025 Mystery. I have been looking at your Leaves quilt behind you now for two weeks and I must have it. Also the Bespoke quilt is a great one for stash busting. I really enjoy the PDF version for instant gratification. Thanks so much for sharing with us on the videos.
I love my Saturday mornings with Corey Yoder! I signed up yesterday for all three parts of the designer mystery quilt at Fat Quarter shop. I’ve been contemplating but I love all of your fabrics so it was a go for me! I also love antiquing and quilt shopping in the Berlin area! I got two “antique” Quilts when we were there in September. So fun.!!❤
Love the Friendship Stars. I especially love the one on the wall behind you. The way you placed the fabrics makes the triangles almost want to spin like little propellers! I like the way you compared your different lines and how they would go together and I could even see more pairings with your greens with your pinks and reds of opposite lines that would really blend together well too, so it's really fun to watch your creative process and of course the wonderful results! Thanks for all you do. ♥️👏🧵🪡🍁
Friendship Stars are such fun blocks to make and they do have a "twinkle" about them don't they! I always like seeing how different lines mix and match (both my own but also mixing with other designers). You can really customize and make your project your own!
Yes, pre-orders for mystery bom.... and did it when announced! Excited. Oh good news about Cali + co, I keep checking every week! There is a quilt just needs that fabric😊. Love the new (old) quilt, unsure which way I would like it best. Thanks for a great vlog. Hugs, Chel 🌸
BeSpoke is a great pattern, and all variations are equally pretty. I think this pattern would look great in holiday colors , example the dark chain with scrappy orange /yellow/ browns for autumn, or Christmas colors. FQS Designer Mystery BOM using Abloom will beautiful, and I have reserved my place in the BOM.
Another fun Saturday video. I think I prefer the first quilt with the white background. I am seriously considering the FQS designer mystery. I know it would be lovely in your new line. I am trying to limit myself to smaller quilts and table runners but I may just make an exception and jump in!
I think I like the first two the same, so pretty. I’d love to see a dark background quilt with bright, darker colors just to compare to the first two. I don’t ask much do I?😂
I'm so glad to have you watching. =) That's such a great question and one I get asked. I've added it to my list of questions because I think my answer is a little bit different than what I usually hear in response to that from other sewists.
I'm really looking forward to the 2025 Designer Mystery. When I saw it was using your fabric, I signed up for the BOM, finishing and backing! This line is so cute, I love it.
I love the version with the dark background. I always like that look but have only made the Sunny Patches Mystery quilt with a darker background & i just love it!
Love the dark thatched version. BUT in this stage of my quilt making, I am very into high contrast. I have a quilt on my bed that was a no rhyme or reason scrappy spiderweb. My current eye - "You could have used value more for contrast between the webs and the stars." Ahhhh well, live and learn.
I just love your cute sweatshirt! I have one as well and love wearing it! Just wore mine yesterday! ❤ I am excited about the new pattern done three ways. I think I may have found the pattern worthy of my bundle of Spring Brook that I have been holding on to for several years now. I will use Thatched in navy for the background. I think it will be the perfect way to use my bundle! I bought it all planning to sew along with Kimberly at Fat Quarter Shop when she did the Serendipity Quilt Along, but I just had too many things going on in my family at the time and just never got started. I thought I would always go back and make it, but every time I got it out and looked at it, I was just not sure I was ready to cut up the bundle and I seemed to be less and less in love with the pattern itself every time I got it all out ready to make it. So I would pack it all up again to wait and see if something else showed up. I have seen other patterns that maybe would work, but they never seemed to be “the one”. This one might be it. I really like the combination of the chain with the Friendship Star. I hope I can use triangle paper for the HSTs, though it won’t be a deal-breaker if I can’t. It’s just so much easier for me to get them more accurate using triangle paper than any other method. Thanks Corey for sharing this today. It always makes me happy to open up RUclips and see you have a new video out. Thanks for sharing your talents with us. I love all three versions of the pattern you shared in your fabric lines. And I think it will be great made from Spring Brook as well! All of those blues, greens and grays! YES!
I think it would be beautiful with Spring Brook. Was the Thatched in Navy what Kimberly used for the charity quilt that year?...I thought that was such a fun choice.
@ yes, I bought it for the project to sew along with her using exactly what she did. I even bought the backing kit as well along with the FQ bundle. So I have plenty there to make anything I want. I just lost interest in their pattern the more I looked at it. So I put it all up on my shelf and enjoyed looking at it while I waited for something better to make with it. I hope this is it!
I am so excited for Abloom! It is my fave line of yours since Buttercup and Slate. I am also going to have to add this pattern to the list. I love the white versions, but practicality tells me I would have to do the dark background, lol. White quilts have proven to me that we are dirty people. Especially my daughter who comes in from chores or riding and lays across her bed. The once white fabrics in her quilt are now tan 🙄
All 3 are so lovely…and I think it is wonderful that you shared three options to help us imagine what we might do. For me, I think I would do a 4th version, lol. I love the first version colors AND I like the dark background, so I would mix the two and make the ‘dark’ background the gray print of the chain in #1 with the bright warm colors still in the 9 patch HST. Might have to break out the color pencils to see what that might look like. (Don’t have EQ just yet.☺️)
I've been doing the FQS MBOM for several years. I thought about taking a break next year but when I saw they are using your fabrics I immediately signed up!! I love to antique as well, where in Ohio are the shops you mentioned? I'm just across the state line in Indiana (when I'm not in Michigan) and need to plan a day trip to shops I've never visited. I do like the dark background on the quilt, however my favorite is your orginial quilt. Thanks for mentioning 2 charm packs would work! I immediately thought of which ones in my stash I can use. :-) I always enjoy watching your videos Corey and seeing Tiggs is always a bonus! 🐾🐾🐾 and oh! can we purchase your sweatshirt from anywhere? I love it! ❤
I like the dark background one the best. It may have something to do with my two black cats that think every quilt in the house is for their personal use.
It's going to be such a fun sew along!
I love all the options but that dark background is my favorite. Love the texture in the thatched fabric too.
Good Morning Corey!
In yesterday's live, Kimberly mentioned she & FQS have been offering the Designer Mystery Quilt for 18 years! Love your Abloom fabric line!
I wondered how long it had been!
I love all the fabrics. But I love all your collections. I have a lot of them. Thanks for all you do for us quilters ❤️
Thank you so much Carmen!
I’ve already signed up for the 2025 FQS designer mystery simply because they are using Abloom fabric ❤
It's going to be so much fun!
Welcome back Corey. Our love and blessings to you.
Good morning Jeni!…so happy to “see” you this morning.
The low volume with dark background is just so striking, absolutely beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
You're so welcome!...thank you so much for watching. =)
Yes all three options are my favorite! Ha. Thank you for the Saturday beautiful eye-candy show Corey. Such a delight.
Thanks so much for watching!
I like the dark background quilt. Makes the friendship stars pop. All are beautiful!
Thank you!
I really like a dark background for backgrounds!
I like the scrappy with your bloom gray as the chain. Seriously all of them are beautiful.
I thought that gray sketch fabric worked so beautifully as the chain fabric for that version. =)
I’m so excited about next year’s Designer Mystery with your beautiful fabrics!
Me too!..it’s going to be so much fun.
As always, you’re such a bright spot in my day Corey! Such beautiful fabrics🧡🧵
That's so nice of you to say!...thank you so much for watching. =)
The colors in the Buttermilk Acres book are your colors for sure!
I love the dark background! 😍 such pretty quilts and fabrics!
The dark background is so striking!
I love the dark background fabric as well!
Thanks Corey! I love the Abloom collection and ordered the kits for the designer mystery quilt as soon as I heard about it!
Yay! I think this mystery is going to be so much fun!
Thank you Corey !! I love the dark grey background those stars just pop !! There’s just something about that dark grey color makes it look amazing!! Love those low volume prints !! 😊❤
I agree!
I’m doing the 2024 designer mystery from FQS and I love it. I told my sister, I’ll skip 2025 because I’ll got some much stash I need to work on, but…. Thanks Cory love your fabrics and your videos.
Oh how exciting!...it's so much fun that both of you are getting to have the fun of the quilt. =)
So glad you released Bespoke as an individual pattern...just love it and plan to grab a copy from your Etsy shop. My favorite is the dark background and really like the Grey thatch fabric you chose. Thanks for sharing the three colorways. They all look great!
It was fun showing the quilt in three different color ways. =)
I love the darker background! Ordered my Calico fat eighth bundle yesterday and it is on its way! I had so much fun with the Cuddle Up Sampler I wanted to do the next one with you as well. Thanks for everything Corey!
So many fun BOMs next year!
I love the dark background best. It seems more vintage. All are very beautiful. Thanks Corey 💜
I think it’s so striking!
Thanks Corrie for your cheerful videos.🤗The pattern with the dark background is lovely, my first choice, a stark difference from the other two. The quilt hanging behind you would be my second choice.
The dark background is so striking!
I have learned a lot from working with you all these years. I take a lot of pride when choosing a thread color. As I feel the color of the thread I choose can really affect the quilt look.
Like you, I choose a lot of warm white for most of my quilting. If we look close, we will see that most fabric has more white than any other color.
It's been so much fun to work with you!
I like the scrappy charm pack version the best. As soon as you said charm pack, I thought of all the Christmas charm packs I have that could be put to good use in this quilt. I’m really looking forward to the Abloom collection and I’m planning on making the 2025 mystery quilt.
That scrappy version opens up so many possibilities!
Hi Corey. Beautiful quilts. 3 way options is brilliant of you to share, thank you 🙏 so much. I do really like the graphite. Very striking. Also the scrappy with charm packs. ❤️
It was fun to show the different options.
I love the Beautiful Day fabrics. I made the FQS charity quilt, and used some leftovers in a wedding quilt for my son. I wish I could find more.
I have so much fun designing the FQS charity quilt using Beautiful Day!
I love all three options: but I especially love the dark one as a great idea of how to use my low-volume FQs that I’ve never used. ❤
I really like mixing those low volumes against a dark background.
Love your new quilt pattern 😊
Thank you!
The scrappy version is such a fun option...especially nice if you want to bust some scraps!
I really like the dark background version, it really makes the pattern pop more. I think it looks really beautiful 😍
Those dark backgrounds are so eye catching!
All nice! I would choose option #3
I like the quilt with the dark grey, Graphite, fabric.
I think that dark background is so pretty!
I signed up for it all as soon as it was available, the fabric caught my attention, it is so beautiful! This will be my first Designer Quilt Along with FQS. Also, Saturday’s are the best because of you and all you do for us!! Thank you!!!
Thank you so much for watching! We are all going to have so much fun with the Abloom mystery quilt.
Corey, I so enjoy your Saturday videos. You are a very special woman, and I truly admire you. I love the Bespoke quilts - I think I would choose the dark background as my favorite. I’m really looking forward to that, and also your mystery quilt with Cali&Co. Two Corey Mystery BOMs in one year - very exciting! ❤
We have so many fun things in store for us next year!
I love the dark grey best😊
I love your fabrics. Your florals are always so pretty. I like the quilt with the dark background, but I’m a scrappy all the way kind of gal. ❤
Maybe scrappy with the dark background!
@ yes, that I would love. It would really make the scrappy colours pop. Thank you! 😊
I can't wait to sew along with everyone!
I like the light background best, but they're all lovely!
It's fun to see all of the different options. =)
Love the light background. Love that pattern so I will be ordering it.
Thank you!
Happy Saturday! I so look forward to your weekly videos! Excited for your new pattern and your BOM in the very near future! Thank you for ALL you do ❤
Thank you so much for watching!
I’m so glad I’ve ordered the FQS Designer Mystery Quilt with Abloom! I absolutely love this collection! I’ll definitely be ordering more of it!
I'm so excited you love it!
Saturday morning means Corey Yoder morning! Really excited about the BOM..
Me too! It's going to be so much fun.
So fun.!!❤
We have such great antique shops around here! I think my favorite is the one in Walnut Creek but they are all so much fun. =)
Absolutely beautiful. Have already preregister ed for it.
It is going to be such fun. 😃
I'm already signed up for the 2025 BOM! I liked the scrappy quilt made with Cali and Co, but maybe that's because I'm so excited about its release!
The BOM is going to be such fun.
Good morning Corey! Can’t wait! Love love love your video!
Good morning!...thank you so much!
Yes!...I showed it in some other options in this blog post: corianderquilts.com/new-scrappy-block-5-pattern-of-the-month/
Love the grey background 😊
It's so striking!
Oh my I am in love with the dark background!! Oh my!! You are so good!!
I think it's so striking!
All are beautiful but my favorite is the scrappy
I thought it was such a fun option. =)
Love the pattern & the Aqua in Abloom ❤
Thank you!
I love the dark one! So striking! Fun to see the different versions!
It's interesting how different the two look!
Oooh!...I can't wait to sew along with you!. It's going to be such fun. =)
I am so excited for FQS Designer Mystery quilt. I ordered all the kits when it was first announced because I love the Abloom fabric!
Thanks so much!...I think we are going to have so much fun. =)
I like the light backgrounds at this time!
They are always so crisp, aren’t they.
Another fun Saturday with you! My favorite is the dark background.
Thanks so much for watching!
Another fun Saturday video. I think I prefer the first quilt with the white background. I am seriously considering the FQS designer mystery. I know it would be lovely in your new line. I am trying to limit myself to smaller quilts and table runners but I may just make an exception and jump in!
I think it's going to be such a fun BOM. I can't wait to sew along with everyone. =)
GOOD MORNING!!
Good morning!
I love the light colored hanging quilt!
I really like those brights against that crisp white. =)
I think I like the first two the same, so pretty. I’d love to see a dark background quilt with bright, darker colors just to compare to the first two. I don’t ask much do I?😂
Always enjoy your videos! ❤
Thank you so much for watching! =)
Love the Bespoke pattern in all ways! I do like the graphite background very much😊
I think the dark background is so striking!
Love that new quilt
Thank you!
I love the scrappy one
So many possibilities with that one!
I love the scrappy version.
This is the first BOM that I have ever wanted to join! I'm so excited!
I think it's going to be a really fun one!
I received an email from Fat Quarter Shop that states my Cali & Co. fabric shipped! I’m so excited to work with it! ❤
Yay! Let the fun sewing begin!
Hi to all from NZ, I have signed up for the mystery block 2025, all 3 to finish my quilt.
We are going to have so much fun!
I like both .l like both ,light and dark backgrounds
It's fun to see how different the two versions are. =)
Of Corey- so happy it’s Saturday cause of u!!!! Do u ever have a sewing slump? Pls share Wht gets you out of it!!! Stay well
I'm so glad to have you watching.
Me too!...it's going to be so much fun.
I'm usually scrappy but really like the dark background❤
The dark background is so striking.
Since in my new Cali & Co order I have included 2 charm packs, that 3rd pattern is perfect!
That will make a beautiful Bespoke quilt!
I love my material I purchased from you. Thank you. Also...when will Abloom come to online stores ?
I think Abloom is an April release.
Like all three but the dark background is my favourite.
Dark backgrounds are so striking!
I love the version with the dark background. I always like that look but have only made the Sunny Patches Mystery quilt with a darker background & i just love it!
Dark backgrounds are so striking!
I like both the light and dark
They are both such fun...I like them both as well. I'm not sure which would be my favorite!
Another great video
Thank you for watching!
Abloom is gorgeous ❤
Thank you so much!
It's so interesting to look back and see what caught my eye at different stages of my quilting making "game".
Hi Corey, I love the new Abloom and would love to see it matched up with peachy keen! Thank you
I'll have to show that!
Sometimes a dark background is just what we need. =)
They are all beautiful. However, I favor the dark grey
The dark background is so striking!
That's such a great idea!
I would mix and match. Use the dark background and the bright colors in the first quilt. All are eye catching.
That would be striking!
I love it! ❤
I’m doing the 2025 mystery bom too!
It will be so much fun!
So hard to decide, maybe gray background by a hair. Always beautiful.
That gray background is so striking!
I like the darker version but scrappy is one of my favorites
Maybe a dark background with scrappy prints. 😄
Hard to decide I like all three
I like the dark background but love yo do all scrappy
Dark background with scrappy prints would be very pretty. =)
I like the dark background one the best. It may have something to do with my two black cats that think every quilt in the house is for their personal use.
I think the dark is so striking!
might try this scrappy - cutting 5 inch scraps!
It would be so pretty!
I also signed up for the 2025 bom!!
We are going to have such fun!
All signed up for 2025 mystery
Yay!
