Also its an interesting comparison that Askeladd tells Alti to never pick a sword again and live a quite life. Hes telling him to live the life Thors chose as well, where instead of taking life you create it and help the people around you. He called him an honest man after all.
While i sometimes find myself wishing this had longer discussions like Aot, i appreciate that if you honestly have less to say on this atm, its more honest to keep it brief and i wouldnt want it artificial or forced, i still like your reactions to this show as well as Frieran. I think this series is better on rewatch for picking up more the subtlety and depth, its not always thrown in your face as bluntly or laid on thick as AoT tends to. So many small lines are easily overlooked or not obvious how to interpret them on first viewing without knowing where things are going and who the characters are 'deep down'.
Yes, the show feels different, I find myself just "feeling the scenes" more, and while that is a reall ycool experience, it obviously doe snot translate to a reaction well. So I will just talk about what I think when I actuall ythink about something :D I have once considered "bloating" the reacs actually (though onl ybriefly), but that is abolutely no tmy style, i feel. I especiall yrealize it when there are these very subtle scenery scenes with music etc. Where commenting "oh, this is peaceful" or something alike would be weird (also I do not find the rightwords for those impressions quickly enough) :D So you are pretty on point with those thoughts :D I really enjoy talking about the religious parts, though, they are reall yintriguing and I can actuall ysay something there :D
@@storieswithstyle nod, i wonder after finishing the show if youll end up with a similar feeling and urge to rewatch, as I did and on 2nd viewing notice and think about so much more, where as first time is just entrancing most of the time. You can tell its good but its hard to say where its going with some things.
If you havent ever played it, which seems likely given it was made 30 years ago...you should check out final fantasy 6 for snes videos. I know you do horror type genre stuff and heavy type stuff, and that game is considered to be one of the best games ever (especially for being released in 95 with the limitations it was working with), storywise, sound track wise and antogoniat wise. Kefka is only what i can describe as a blend of the joker and darth vader. Not expecting you to play it. But maybe check out a video on youtube about it. I think its up your alley

Laden is an english word too. Typically means weighed down rather then covered though (Like, a cart laden with bricks.)
