Nice one Gary👍 Enjoyed that; that song brings back some memories; good grief I'm 59 now! Definitely one to add to the repetoire😎 A song that's overlooked I think.
Saw LC recently acoustic and again with band in January Manchester. Thanks so much for your kind comments and for supporting my channel, glad you found it 🙏🤓🎸
@edmoification it’s a Sheraton. I’m not sure what the finish is called but it’s one of the early models that said Epiphone by Gibson on the headstock. As far as I can remember they only did two finishes which is the one like mine, a kind of tobacco sunburst, and also a natural finish. You can pick them up non Ebay. I don’t normally modify my guitars but the pickups and pots on these aren’t great and so I replaced them, the wiring harness, tuners, and added the Bigsby. I only did all this a year or so ago. The early models like this were made in Korea and I think they sell for £700 / £800 ish. There’s a nice story with mine, I was in my early 20s when I bought it from a small shop near Manchester. It was faulty and the guy didn’t have another and so he offered to take me down to Rossetti the distributor then as he was ordering more stock. They were great with me and let me pick my own replacement right from the shop floor. They gave me some Gibson goodies and said that one day they hoped I’d move up to a Gibson which I later did. I’ve not seen a Sheraton in a store for ages so not sure if they still do it, you see the Epiphone Casino though which is similar. Good luck, let me know if you get one. See my Smiths video Heaven knows I’m miserable now - I’d just added the mods when I did it.
@@GuitarGary. thank you so much for replying and the guitar story. I am really enjoying your Reel Around the Fountain tutorial now. I love the chord based approach you take. Definitely the best tutorial of this song on RUclips. There are just so many great songs that I love on your channel that I am looking forward to learning.
I've told you this before, but have have to soy it again. Fantastc tutorial. Great musical taste. Thanks for your videos. They are an inspiration for me.
Thanks 🙏 Jose Maria that really means a lot to me. I enjoy doing it but the best part is to think that someone somewhere is inspired by it which is amazing 🤓🎸👍
Hi Gary great tutorial, would it be possible to do a tutorial on the Rattlesnakes track please?.I have been trying to figure it out for a while. Many thanks.
@hbhd308 Not sure about next as I’ll need to look at it but this is a great suggestion and I’ll definitely be doing it, always one of my favourites and I think underestimated Smiths song - it won’t be long and thanks for supporting my channel 🙏👍🤓🎸
I helped make this song a hit.😂 Stephen the drummer was married to my sister, we drove around the West of Scotland buying the single from shops who registered sales to impact the singles chart (not all record shop sales registered for charts, we had a list of the ones tthat did)
Love this song Gary among all the others you do. Still waiting for How does it feel by Slade! ;-) I've just released today my first ever song on Spotify and You tube music among others paying homage to the Smiths EP covers that are in my collection and on your wall. Thanks so much @abroda9601. Ill definitely have a look at your music. As for Slade I don’t want to promise - honest open reason is I’m now trying to keep songs in the same sort of space if you know what I mean. Also I spend a bit of time working on them and then filming and editing and so I have to try and gauge the level of interest I’ll get - I don’t always get that right though! 🤣🤓🎸
Great song … Bravo Gary. Cheers from France ♥️
He must be one the most underrated guitarists of the 80s.I don't even know his name but I've always loved his playing.
Commotions guitarist is/was Neil Clarke...
Great Jangle Pop 😊

@@GuitarGary. if you don’t mind me asking, what is the model and finish?
