@davidpaul7642 thanks so much, I’m definitely going to do more Lloyd Cole as early feedback is good and I don’t think there’s a lot of other videos out there 👍🤓🎸
I play quite a few LC songs in my covers band. One song I’ve never figured out is Sweetness which was a B side in the Rattlesnakes period. Great song, should have been on the album.
Awsome tune, great lesson, we used to cover it in my band, clearly i wasnt playing it "quite" right😊 but hey artistic licence eh. I met Lloyd once after on of his gigs in Annapolis very cool dude. Love the channel !
@timjx3675 thanks so much it makes it all worth it to receive kind comments like this. I used to play it back in the day too but I don’t think I did it quite right then either! It’s been easier watching Lloyd playing this acoustic version. You’re right, he is a cool dude, my wife always liked him and I always wished I had hair like he did! 🤣Thanks for supporting my channel and I’ll definitely be doing more LC tunes 👍🤓🎸
Thanks @Deninsos - yes I noticed this too, and yes I’ll have a look at Perfect Skin, give me a couple of weeks to work on it. Thanks for supporting my channel 🙏👍🤓🎸
@andrewobrien1652 in the words of Meatloaf, you took the words right out of my mouth…….I was thinking of that for my next LC song, need to look at it myself first but yes good call 👍🤓🎸
Thank you! I'm a beginner and your teaching style is very easy to follow. Ten notes in and counting!
Great stuff glad you found my channel and good luck with your guitar playing 🤓👏👏👏🎸
one of the best albums of the eighties your right its hard to sing and play the riff at the same time
@garygee1468 I think it’s fair to say it’s just hard to sing in my case whether I’m playing a riff or not 🤣🤣🤣🤓🎸😉
Another immaculate choice. 😎

Wow that brought me back , Thank You great lesson
Great choice!!
Ooooer Gary, that gave me goosies & 80s flashbacks , bang on!
Goosies 🤣🤣🤣🎸🤓
Looking forward to the wurzels then! I saw Lloyd cole in December last year. He was great to see again, with a great band also.
Thanks so much Gary. More Lloyd Cole songs please.
Go on then 👍🤓🎸
@GuitarGary. second that ! - Don't look back from X album ?
I play quite a few LC songs in my covers band. One song I’ve never figured out is Sweetness which was a B side in the Rattlesnakes period. Great song, should have been on the album.
Thank you ! Great taste 😀

Great video thanks. There doesn't seem to be many Lloyd Cole video lessons at all on YT just some covers. Please do Perfect Skin.
Thanks @Deninsos - yes I noticed this too, and yes I’ll have a look at Perfect Skin, give me a couple of weeks to work on it. Thanks for supporting my channel 🙏👍🤓🎸
I swear you have the same musical tastes as me!
Thanks so much @abroda9601 . I might be seriously testing that as I’m going a bit off piste with my next one…….should be on RUclips later today 😉🤓🎸
Great choice, maybe Forest Fire next?
@andrewobrien1652 in the words of Meatloaf, you took the words right out of my mouth…….I was thinking of that for my next LC song, need to look at it myself first but yes good call 👍🤓🎸
@@GuitarGary. I was just being greedy, but I'd you don't ask etc. I Really impressed with your choices of track anyhow and Meatloaf is another.
@@andrewobrien1652 we will do Forest Fire 👍🤓🎸
what is the accurate tab for the C Add9 riff that follows the beginning one you demonstrate?
I don’t have the tab sorry but if you watch Lloyd play this acoustic version it’s as I describe in the lesson, more of a strum 👍
