My Ex and I loved this song and the album formed the soundtrack to our early days...17 years later we grew apart and I find myself coming back here in 2020 to listen as I sit writing a remembrance card for his funeral on Monday 🖤 Heartbroken but smiling through my sorrow 🖤
Where has the time gone? I remember listening to them on my Walkman like it was yesterday. He’s such a talented songwriter.
Listening to Lloyd Cole was part of the process of learning English. Those times, without Internet, it was play-pause-play in an old cassette recorder and writing in a notebook the lyrics. I know by heart all the songs in this album.
I've managed to get myself so drunk that the higher Priestess has had to address me to start drinking coffee I saw her in the kitchen
Absolute masterpiece from the 80's. And legendary guitar solo. Hats off Lloyd Cole👏👏
Three albums, three incredible moments of 80's artistry.
RIP Benny Harvey, gone but not forgotten. Miss ya big man x
The anthem of my youth. What a perfectly constructed piece of musical genius.
Lloyd Cole was and still is a magical vocalist and an amazing song writer. Simply timeless, I’m now 61 and his music still moves me !
❤ just loving it. Makes me think of the man of my life. Sweet 80's
Nobody looks as good in a polo neck as good as Lloyd!
Quite possibly the best guitar solo of all time
I fell over to this amazing song.
Merci pour cette vidéo. A regarder et écouter sans modération en 2022 comme en 1984. 38 ans et pas une ride ! La France aussi adore.
Played that album to death when it came out,one of the best debut albums of all time.
The ending is probably my favourite guitar part from the 1980s
My first cassette album, heard it thousand times, loved it for ever 💞
I cannot possibly be held responsible for returning to my love for 80’s music, when artists like “Lloyd Cole and the Commotions” have made such beautiful memory evoking and goosebump inducing sounds.
simply one of the best song ever .....nous disparaitrons tous...mais cela restera
Massively brilliant song
