Thanks so much. The posters are original promo posters by Rough Trade which used to appear in record shops. You can pick them up on Ebay but they aren’t cheap as they are collectible now. I had mine framed myself. You can also get reproductions. 🙏🤓🎸

I learnt it from Michael too, I didn’t know he was no longer with us, that is really sad. I always thought he was the best teacher on the old Lick Library tutorials where I learnt a lot of songs many years ago. ❤️

@leobender2910 there’s a nice story behind mine, I bought one new from a small guitar shop in Manchester and it turned out to be faulty. The shop owner couldn’t replace it but offered to take me to London as he had a meeting with the distributor Rossetti. They were great, let me unpack and hand pick my own replacement then took me for lunch, gave me a load of goodies and said they hoped one day I’d buy a Gibson which I did years later when I could afford one. 🤓❤️

@@GuitarGary. Wow, that is a nice story, indeed. They went out of their way to meet your needs. Things like that make memories we fondly look back at. In my experience, buying from local music stores has always been as exciting as grocery shopping. But I feel happy reading your story! It reminds me of the story told by Noel Gallagher about how he went guitar shopping with Johnny Marr, for some reason

@GuitarGary. Beautiful. I've been picking individual notes on this and many other Smiths tunes, but a looser, more casual strumming style actually sounds better (more floral if that makes sense) and is less a headache to play. I don't think Marr even plays like Marr usually lol. I'll practice with your method more once my amp gets out of the shop. Cheers!

Thanks I got it second hand, Ricky’s aren’t that common anyway so easier to get what you want in a way, I’ve heard they do set productions of colours so not all colours available all the time, mines Midnight Blue which I think was a limited run. 👍
