We can open building doors while the ferals are close to the doors and it will stun the Blood ferals. So there are 10 ways to execute them. Forgot to add that to the video.
There is another way that needs to be mentioned. You can use door to knock them down for execution just like normal zombies. This is actually the best way to kill it when playing a low-level character at the beginning with no powerhouse, no guns, no stamina consumables, no vehicles. It needs some practice and you have to be faster than it to open the door otherwise you will be knocked down. But I think it is still easy enough for players who want to try high difficulties.
Damn seeing this made me feel sad that i lost my sheriff last night cause i couldnt get in the car fast enough (feral broke the door off) and I couldnt fight it properly cause i was out of ammo in nightmare difficulty. R.I.P Arnold

And I’m thinking to myself, I love state of decay 2. I just wish they’d give us more info or shit a release date for state of decay 3. Instead of working on that game, hurry up and work on the new game and release it. I think a lot more people would rather have State of Decay 3 rather than an update for state of decay 2. While this was extremely satisfying to watch, I'm gonna stick with running them over. I found that if you wait until you're about ti hit them they'll usually dash to your right (their left) so you can now them down if your timing is right.
Thanks man, blood ferals were my worst nightmare. I knew about the drop kick but it's no super reliable. Now the blast rifle... Yeah baby! I never used cleo weapons because i thought the ammo was "expensive" but the blast rifle using one round at a time for ferals is cheap! Far cheaper than 30 5.56 rounds trying to hit him. Anyway i have 2 unbreakables i recruited outfitted with those rifles. They're my plague heart assault team. Now i love when the ferals show up and smoke them.

I was wrong thinking ferals here in sod2 are easier cause tou can just spam dodge them, it has no "dreaded" fatal lunge,and the game has longer stamina bar,. But actually after playing the sod2 theyre a so dangerous too. Your stamina can indefintely have fatigue debuff(0 stamina). The ferals in sod2: -less taunting animation -detection at 50-100m distance -cannot be executed on lunge fail dive -has armor

theres no way to know what member gets what specialisation, its completely random but u can buy books from mysterious traders that let u change a characters specialisation for 1500 influence
Undead Labs did many things wrong with SoD2. One thing they nailed is making feral execution extremely satisfying. From the way they make you hate blood ferals to the animation, camera angles and movement, and sound.
Imagine being a regular survivor and then watch a mad man dropkicking a damn feral to then take it from the shoulder and start stabbing it into oblivion... Gah dayum
The RTX Crusher was OP against Ferals when the weapon was first released. It only took at least 3-5 Hits to get the Feral into the Execution state. Now they nerfed the RTX Crusher to where it took A LOT of hits. I tried using the Slugger against the Ferals because it immediately knocks zombies down with one hit but nope. It doesn’t work for Ferals either.

lets just say its not how many zombies you kill its more how many times you press the y button grab a zombie push him into a wall get on the side of him start walking into the wall or whatever you push it in then spam the y button see your wits levels grow just dont get it patched
*Hard to kill *Good hygiene *Germophobic *Good/Bad Immune system *Survivalist *And it’s something else im missing. But these R Good traits for a player and u can build up the rest.
The thing I miss from the original State of Decay if you made a feral message lunge attack with a Dodge you could have easily executed on the ground why would they take that away
IDK what's scarier, 3 ferals or 1 blood feral. I've been killed horribly by a blood feral already but yet to be killed by any ferals, so I guess that's my answer.
So disappointed that the Red Talon peeps don't have the dropkick. Btw, you can kick to death a PH. Just make sure you can set up an outpost near it first. This keeps zeds from spawning.
I absolutely hate gerald especially blood plague freaks. It is so satisfying when to kill a feral. I just mess blowing them up though. In fact I mess sitting up multiple land mine traps and making special zombies go boom. I get you have C4 for the plague hearts, fuel bombs and thermite. But it's all really for killing plague hearts which kinda took the fun out of kill mass hordes of zombies.
Blood ferals? As if ferals werent scary enough. I guess it's on lethal isnt it? I tried lethal for the tutorial and about 2 minutes of game play. My first guy died from blood infection within 2 seconds of taking control of him and walking to the infirmary. His sister died being less than a minute outside of the safehouse. Run over a couple of zombies, car lit up, went out got blood infection from like 1-2 zombies. And this was my first gameplay but I ain't touching that. Dread is fine.

Also when executing a downed zombie with a heavy weapon if a feral is nearby when you swing it around in big circle then it will also be stunned :)

Yep. You don't even need to bash the door, you can just open the door normally.

Sometimes the trait the survivor has will kinda hint Powerhouse, for example Masseuse and Has a strong back

Before you learn any of these skills, slamming doors into a feral, if you can time it right, will allow you to execute them.

Just play with 2/3 survivors only. It's tedious
i use a shotgun to deal with them or someone with a snapshot skill
