Lmao in my head I was imagining you saying something like "I don't know the torque specs off the top of my head but you just gotta snug'em down good and you'll be fine" and then boom you started talking about not knowing the torque specs and it was amazing.
Excellent! Brother I could follow n understand all your doing. I too have to do ball joints but I'm no mechanic. I actually think I may pull this off! Thanks! Will be looking for other videos you make. I can learn from a "normal" guy much easier. Great job friend.
Thanks for the video!. Helped out so much Gonna replace mine hopefully in a couple weeks. my 01 54 super crew just broke 200k and I love it! I'd never sell her!
Thanks for the video, really helped. Looked like a tough job on my rusty 2001 f150 and I only had the inner and outer replacement rods. After watching this, I bought new adjusting connectors and replaced the whole thing like you did and matched up the lengths. Alignment seems exactly the same but I'll take it to a shop anyway to make sure. Also, I didn't have the joint tool but Autozone loans them out for free so I didn't spend the $20 for that piece I'll never use again. Cheers!
thanks, I have to do tierods on my truck today, I did shocks last week and swaybar leaks yesterday, now tie rods today, and my back is all cramp up, thanks for the video!
In case anyone needs it he was right about the torque range. According to Haynes it is 56-75 ft. lbs for both inner and outer tie rods.
Good job man. Nothing like doing the work yourself. And saving money. Rather than bringing it to the stealership! Lol

If you'd wait to grease it after you're done it wouldn't be that hard to get that tie rod in
Amazing how much you learn watching videos never in my life work on a car now I work a lot and my f150 👍👍
Thank you for this video. So much more simpler than other videos.
Ford put cheap rims on the trucks, and they used cheap metal for the body on all there vechial ,they rust to easy!
what was the total length
What do I do if I don't have a puller
Anyone know the torque specs?

Mine snapped on the inner end, this morning (fairly scary). I'm no mechanic, but I can definitely handle this. This video was perfect. Thanks, man. 🍻
