The tricolor flag with the national coat of arms is the flag of the Federal Territories (Malay: Wilayah Persekutuan) of Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Labuan. Higher car ownership in Malaysia due to having local car industry with cheaper vehicles and also petrol is heavily subsidized.
Actually in town area most.local who works n stay there mostly like riding than driving coz surely to refuse of traffic jam to go working fastly n other activities...KL so crowded n car parking also play that issuess....n most of malay they all chooses motorcycle cause economic cost n easy to move fastly.
I've seen a photo dated in the Colonial era (end of the 19th century) where a group of hunters posing in front of that field (Dataran Merdeka) with a carcass of a tiger killed at the jungle nearby (now Bukit Aman (Police HQ) and KL Botanical Garden).
@@yanoftheworld Beneath that square there is a parking lot, and there was also a KFC restaurant. Not sure if the parking lot still opens since it was totally submerged underwater in the big KL flood in 2007 and again in 2017.
Cheers Aziz, I didn't realise you could go under the square. Sorry to hear re the floods. I will need to explore KL (and wider Malaysia) more when I next visit.
6:46 Malaysian produce local brands with cheaper price. So, car ownership quite high in Malaysia compared other SEA countries. Even thought motorcycle seems less on roads, but motorcycle ownership is double than Msian population, perhaps contributed by GDP per capita.
Cutting down trees are prohibited within the City and needs a written permission from the authorities and if granted, have to pay very substantial of sums of compensation and have to be replanted with more trees.
Breakfast of champions there mate!!!! 🍳
Was amazing and great value at that price! Didn't think I was going to eat the curry sauce but it was nice and light tasting/not too spicy! Cheers
