so adorable! i love my penpals!! my penpal sends me botanical illustrations from books she got from antique stores since she knows i like them! i like sending drawings, handmade stickers, and on special occasions i like adding tea and chocolate!! i love writing and receiving letters, they're just so much more personal and i love the idea that they come from oceans away!

I've only ever had one pen pal. It was difficult because she lived on the other side of the world and was still learning English, but I was learning her first language at the time, which was how we met in the first place, so it was a good way to help each other learn. I lost touch with her starting high school... I still have all the letters she sent me... I hope she's doing well, where ever she is.

I found this video through searching RUclips. I like your ideas. One of my friends has a pen pal Facebook group where I’ve found a few pals. I usually send just letters but sometimes add in extra things like stickers or washi tape.

When I was a teenager, I had a pen pal from Germany, but that fizzled out. I also had a brief correspondence with someone from Finland and another from Australia. I want to have one again! And hopefully, one that lasts.
I think it would be a good idea to find one from France so that I can practice the language by writing my letters in french and she could reply back in English to practice hers.

Great video, thanks a lot! I used to have a few pen pals, mostly from Japan and Korea when I was still learning English. I still remember how enthusiastic they were and how they sent me beautiful things from their country. It was a small envelope of wonder when I received their letters! ^_^ I miss it a lot but nowadays I do not have time at all for writing letters, way too busy with everyday life. I do miss it a lot and I wish I could have even one pen pal again even if I could send 1 letter bimonthly...that would probably look like a trunk rather than an envelope he he
